MTV has announced The Real World: Cancun -- the twenty-second season of the long-running reality series -- will premiere Wednesday, June 24 at 10PM ET/PT.

Similar to The Real World: Brooklyn's recently-concluded season, The Real World: Cancun will feature eight strangers instead of seven.

The eight new roommates featured on The Real World: Cancun will reside in a suite in the hotel ME Cancun and work at StudentCity.com, a travel agency that specializes in providing college students with spring break packages.

MTV announced in January that Cancun would serve as the setting for The Real World's twenty-second season.

While The Real World has never previously filmed a full season in Cancun, it was the setting for 2003's The Real Cancun -- an unscripted R-rated movie produced by The Real World's Bunim-Murray Productions.

In addition to The Real World: Cancun's premiere, MTV confirmed that Washington, D.C. will serve as the setting for the show's twenty-third installment -- which is currently slated to begin production this summer.
