The 27-year-old television personality denied a new report Monday on Instagram that she fueled recent Kardashian dating rumors to gain fame.

"I did not fake anything. Like I said I never confirmed that I was dating rob. Any one that asked I told them it was not true," she wrote in a since-deleted post.

"It takes two people to fake a relationship, any one who fakes a relationship by themselves is a complete idiot!!"

TMZ had reported Monday that James was the "mastermind" behind the romance rumors.

Sources claimed the star's team planted the story in the media to "spread her name" and "grow her following."

"I've been working in entertainment since I was 18 I've done a multitude of Tv shows as well as a couple films. As well as have had over half a million social media followers over two years," James responded in her post. "So for FAME? Ya'll are REACHING!"

"Entertainment Tonight" reported last week that James and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star have been "casually seeing each other for a few months now."

However, Kardashian subsequently denied involvement with James in a tweet on Thursday.

"Wait reading online about some chick I'm dating Megan something. Not true never even met her or heard of her before," he wrote.

James is known for starring on "Bad Girls Club" Season 9 and "Basketball Wives L.A." Season 4.
