Married at First Sight stars Jacob Harder and Briana Myles have slammed Chris Williams' behavior toward Paige Banks on the show's twelfth season.

The Married at First Sight season has shown Chris repeatedly boasting about himself and his accomplishments, making offensive and sexist remarks about Paige, discussing his high expectations of a woman's physical looks, constantly talking about sex, and marrying a stranger only three months after ending his engagement to his former fiancee, whom he still continued hooking up with after their split.

On top of all that, Paige learned at the beginning of her honeymoon that Chris had just discovered that his ex-fiancée, Mercedes, was supposedly six weeks pregnant.

On Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Paige, Jacob and Briana watched back a Season 12 clip of Paige moving into her Atlanta, GA, apartment alone following her honeymoon with Chris.

"On the flight home, Chris says, 'I'm getting a flight to Chicago,'" Paige recalls in the clip. "I wish that Chris was here to see and experience this with me."

On Unfiltered, host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight -- asked Paige why Chris suddenly decided to fly to Illinois after their honeymoon.

"He has family there and I know him and his grandmother are very, very close and, you know, he just needed to get away for a few days and process everything that has happened," Paige explained.

Jamie acknowledged that moving in with one's spouse on the show is supposed to be an exciting moment.

"How does it feel doing this alone?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah, you know, I'm at this point a little checked out because it's like I signed up to go through a process with someone, regardless of how that journey looked. And this situation is like no other," Paige explained.

"So I'm trying to be understanding, but it's definitely overwhelming at this point for me that our first day back, he's not there."

Briana and Jacob were then asked to share their perspective on Chris not moving in with Paige immediately.

Jacob laughed and said, "He's going to hate me for commenting on it, but it's not what I would have done and I think he needs to reflect on the decisions he made because your solution was to fly back to Chicago and leave [Paige] alone during this pivotal moment?"

"I think it was a [expletive] solution, personally," Jacob added.

And Briana admitted she might not have handled Chris' absence or neglect as well as Paige seemed to.

"If I was in that same situation, yeah, I would be pissed! You said you're putting me above everyone else, right?" Briana said, referring to how Chris had promised Paige in Las Vegas that she'd be his No. 1 priority before his child, his child's mother, and even his own mother.

"So my feelings would be hurt," Briana acknowledged.

In terms of where Paige stood in her marriage at that point, she confessed her head was in "limbo."

"Part of me is like, 'I'm out. This is too much and I can't take any more.' And another part of me is like, 'You know, I did sign up for this process,'" Paige recalled.

"I just kind of reflect on my vows and some of the things I said was I wasn't gonna let any fear or doubt come and infiltrate our marriage, so I'm really trying to stand by that."

Jamie, who is still married to her match Doug Hehner, noted that Paige is "so strong."

Ever since Married at First Sight's twelfth season premiered in early January on Lifetime, viewers have expressed outrage over the experts' decision to cast Chris on the show.

On his wedding day, for example, Chris lamented to production about how he lacked an attraction to his wife, but then he went on to have sex with her twice in 24 hours.

A defeated and confused Paige nearly ended her relationship because she felt devalued and disrespected, but she chose to persevere and honor her vows -- only to discover at the beginning of her honeymoon in Las Vegas that Chris' ex-fiancee, Mercedes, was about six weeks pregnant.

Chris, however, appeared to sweet-talk Paige and convince her that he was really starting to like her and still had the best of intentions for their marriage. Paige later told Pastor Calvin Roberson that the couple continued sleeping together from that point on.

But after disappearing for a few days in Chicago, Chris reunited with Paige in Atlanta and allegedly broke the news off-camera that he wanted a divorce.

"He already spoke to, like, a divorce attorney and everything. Like, I cannot believe this sh-t at all... I jut feel f-cking disgusted right now," Paige lamented to production after her conversation with Chris behind closed doors.

"I feel disgusted for having any type of intimacy with this man. F-ck that! No! I am done, period! I'm done. This is bullsh-t! All that m-therf-cker dramatic-ass sh-t he done dragged me through? F-ck you! F-ck that b-tch!"

But after the conversation, Paige said Chris had whispered into her ear that he was falling in love with her.

The latest Married at First Sight episode featured Paige and Mercedes meeting face to face, with Mercedes announcing that she had no intention of taking Chris back.

Paige also determined she was going to walk away from the relationship since it was no longer serving her.

Pastor Cal and fellow MAFS expert Dr. Pepper Schwartz have both previously suggested they advised Paige to end her marriage and cut off all ties with Chris but she refused to take their advice.

The two experts also said Paige was given the option to leave her marriage and film the rest of Season 12 as a single woman while the show was in production in Summer 2020, rejecting speculation that Paige was stuck in her relationship for contractual obligations.
