Married at First Sight star Paige Banks admits Chris Williams' rapid-fire questions about sex during their wedding dinner left her feeling shocked and embarrassed.

Chris' casting on Married at First Sight's twelfth season has been very controversial given many fans argue he seems sex-obsessed, shallow and arrogant.

Chris admitted being matched with an "ugly" wife would be a dealbreaker, and he had extremely high expectations of his bride's physical appearance. Chris also told the cameras he desired a "submissive" woman who is "a freak" in the bedroom.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Paige and Married at First Sight expert Dr. Pepper Schwartz watched back a Season 12 clip in which Chris asked his new bride numerous questions about sex during their wedding dinner.

Chris asked Paige in the clip if she was a virgin and has a high sex drive, and he also blurted out, "Are you on contraception," to which Paige shyly replied, "No."

Chris also told his wife he had "fasted" and "abstained" from masturbation and other sexual activity for three days so he could enter his marriage with a pure mind and intentions.

"Oh my God," Paige vented on Unfiltered after watching the footage back.

"I literally have to pick my jaw up off the floor," noted Unfiltered host Jamie Otis, who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight.

"Oh yeah, I don't even want to comment on this. I'm, like, really embarrassed," Paige admitted.

"For a minute, you could see, like, 'Are we really talking about this right now? I don't even know your last name; I'm still trying to get to know you -- and you're already on that?' You know?"

Pepper admitted that was "really unusual talk" at a wedding, and Jamie acknowledged how Chris' comments had put Paige in "such a strange situation."

"Like, I don't want to hear if you've masturbated or not in the last three days -- like, what?" Jamie expressed with surprise.

"I think [Chris] was trying to tell Paige how he had saved himself for her," Pepper reasoned, "but then it was messed up with all these other questions as well with too much information."

Jamie then poked fun at Chris by saying, "'Three whole days I waited for you! Are you on birth control? Because I don't know how much longer I can wait!'"

Jamie therefore asked Paige how she was feeling about Chris being her husband just a few hours after meeting him.

"Oh, I'm a little anxious right now, you know? I've never dealt with anything like this, so I just kind of was like, 'Where is this going and what are you wanting out of this situation right now?'" Paige explained.

Jamie admitted she was asking herself the same questions, like, "What is going on here?!"

After marrying Chris, Paige admitted she felt a disconnect with him, especially because he never looked into her eyes when saying his marriage vows.

When asked whether she felt any type of connection with Chris right off the bat, Paige explained, "We had some moments, like I genuinely was smiling a couple of times and whatnot. But, you know, right now, this is different for the both of us."

"We just met," Paige reiterated. "We are strangers. I'm really hopeful that within these next couple of weeks we can really find out why we were matched for each other and take it from there."

In addition to bringing up sex too early, Chris also brought up his ex-fiancee numerous times on his wedding day.

Chris -- who was engaged three months prior to signing up for the extreme experiment -- actually revealed he had a tattoo of his ex's name covered up just two days before tying the knot with Paige.

To make matters worse, Chris claimed he was not physically attracted to Paige and her looks are "opposite" of the trophy-woman type he was "used to" dating.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight's twelfth season, Chris said he had "a panic attack" after sleeping with Paige twice after their wedding because he still didn't feel attracted to her.

"I am so confused. I have never been with a man who wants to have sex multiple times that didn't desire me or didn't find me attractive," Paige lamented in a confessional.

Chris told his parents that he had sex with Paige -- once at night and again in the morning -- in attempt to achieve a "closeness" with his new wife as well as some type of attraction or connection.

"But I was wrong. There was nothing there," Chris complained.

Chris later apologized to his wife for how he had made her feel, and so Paige decided not to check out of her marriage, although she had admittedly been tempted to end it.

The pair agreed to start fresh on their Las Vegas honeymoon and try to build a solid foundation.
