Married at First Sight star Nick Uhlenhuth has shared a dating update after his relationship with Courteney Landis crashed and burned on the show.

"I ended up going to therapy and talked through a bunch of things and did self-reflection too," Nick told Us Weekly on Wednesday, August 26.
Nick spoke to the magazine one day before Peacock released Married at First Sight's Season 20 finale and reunion.
Only one of the show's seven couples this season, Cameron Mitchell and Michelle Le, decided to stay married at the end of the process.
"I took a pretty big break [from dating] after Married at First Sight, just to kind of chill, decompress. Then I tried dating, and it was not going well," Nick admitted.
"I was overthinking everything. I was so in my head about putting my arm around a girl, even complimenting girls about their appearance and things that were just so normal before."
He added, "I was getting criticized for those things in my relationship with Courteney, so I was so in my head."
However, Nick said he was eventually able to shake off the bad vibes and be himself again.
"I got back out in the dating world and then started having way more fun with it again and kind of being the old Nick," Nick shared.
"Now, dating's been great, and I've actually been seeing someone for quite a few dates now so we'll see."
Nick explained how he received a lot of closure by watching Married at First Sight back on Peacock.

"I've been kind of living in limbo for the last year waiting for the show to air, and I was kind of gaslit into thinking maybe I was the problem," Nick said.
"Watching it back has been so satisfying and validating because I was able to see the full picture and be like, 'Oh, actually all these hunches I had were correct,' and that was the closure that I really needed."
Courteney often bashed Nick in her confessionals, and she was trashed on Reddit while Married at First Sight was unfolding on Peacock.
Fans of the show criticized her for lacking self-awareness, and they called her "aggressive" and "narcissistic" among other names.
While Nick has clearly moved on from Courteney, he said he's happy to still have Cameron in his life as a good friend.
And now that he has the tools to navigate his MAFS rejection and failed marriage, Nick said he's going to look back on his Married at First Sight experience proudly.
"It was actually really awesome for me to see how I reacted in that kind of an environment with that kind of a person, and to see that I took the high road and I was patient and kind," Nick said.
"I was really proud of that... It's really awesome to see people on the internet resonating with it and kind of giving me props for it."

Nick said he's probably done with reality TV for now, although he quipped, "The Traitors can hit me up."
