Married at First Sight Season 20 star Michelle Le has revealed she had a hysterectomy and shared her surrogacy plans with husband Cameron Mitchell.

During the finale -- which was released for streaming Thursday, August 27 on Peacock -- Michelle and Cameron decided to stay together and continue working on their marriage post-filming.
Michelle and Cameron provided fans with an update on their journey to parenthood during a joint interview with People that was published on August 27.
"I actually had the surgery back in May. I ended up needing a hysterectomy, so I was healing all through that month," Michelle shared. "So I can't carry my own children."
Michelle confirmed that Cameron was "really supportive" during her recovery, which apparently only made their relationship stronger.
"We're going to look into surrogacy in the fall," Michelle revealed.
"We have no idea what that process entails, but it's definitely something that we're interested in and we want to go for. So we're excited to start that process."
Cameron said the couple is hoping to "start the process within the next few months" because it can be a long process.
"We want to get started and try to have a kid," Cameron shared.
Cameron admitted that Michelle's fertility issues came as "a bit of a surprise" to him at first but ultimately had no influence over his desire to be with her.
"It was never something that made me second guess her... [or] us," Cameron insisted to the magazine. "I was more focused on finding love and finding my person."

Cameron also acknowledged there are "a lot of different ways" -- though probably "less conventional" -- he can expand his family with his wife.
"And so it was really cool to just kind of hear Michelle's story," he noted, adding how he knew he wanted to spend his life with Michelle after only "a couple weeks" of filming.
"I was always certain I was going to say yes [on Decision Day]. It was honestly an easy decision at that point, and I didn't have any doubts at all."
Michelle, for her part, revealed that she knew Cameron was The One for her about four weeks into the extreme marriage experiment.
"So [Decision Day] was not a surprise for the two of us," she confirmed.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Cameron and Michelle decided to move to Northern California.
"Cameron just moved to the Bay Area in July," Michelle said, adding how she plans to join him in a few weeks.
The couple said they're looking forward to traveling, having adventures, and allowing their families to get to know each other.

Michelle and Cameron apparently feel lucky to have met each other because dating apps are "really tough" and the Seattle dating scene was a struggle.
"We have the Seattle Freeze, and so it's really difficult to meet people out and about," Michelle explained.
Michelle said her dating pool seemed to get smaller and smaller given she's in her thirties.
"And so it was really, really disheartening," she admitted to People.
"And so that's why I decided to get Married at First Sight, because I thought I needed help from some experts desperately."
Now that Michelle has found love, she described her marriage as "really amazing" and "really special."
"It just really speaks towards, you should try new things, especially if you're someone struggling in a relationship," Michelle told fans.
"I think it really speaks towards how matchmaking can work. And a lot of therapy, too."
