Married at First Sight star Amber Bowles admits there's something missing in her relationship with husband Matthew Gwynne -- something she envies in Deonna McNeill and Gregory Okotie's marriage.

"I just love how they're communicating, because they are telling each other how they feel, but it's not so serious," Amber said during a Wednesday appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.

"I wish Matt and I could have that type of conversation about feelings. Ours always get so serious, and it would be nice to have this playful banter."

Amber made those comments after watching back a clip of Deonna and Greg talking about sexual intimacy in their relationship.

Deonna told Greg she had "moved past comfortable" in their relationship and would go as far as to say she "really liked" her husband.

Greg then playfully asked Deonna, "Does this mean you are sexually attracted to me, girl? Just saying."

Deonna laughed and said Greg had a habit of making things awkward, which prompted Greg to take things one step further and say, "You want to jump my bones, huh? Take your time, now, take your time."

Deonna replied, "Jeeze Louise. Well, yes, that is what that means."

"So does that mean we're going to have sex tonight or tomorrow?" Greg slyly asked.

"Those words did not come out of my mouth," Deonna said, before laughing.

Greg then joked he had forgotten everything Deonna said after mentioning she was sexually attracted to him several weeks into their marriage.

Amber was also joined by her Married at First Sight co-stars Iris Caldwell and Jamie Thompson on the Unfiltered broadcast, and the pair voiced their opinions on Deonna and Greg's playful dynamic.

"I think Greg is taking it in strides, you know what I mean?" said Iris, who married Keith Manley on Married at First Sight's ninth season.

"He's doing a really good job of trying to open up Deonna a little bit and being funny and humorous, kind of seeing where he can go. So I definitely think he's doing the best he can."

Jamie -- who wed Elizabeth Bice on the series -- then added that he'd be "feeling good" had he been in Greg's shoes during that conversation with Deonna.

"I like that [Deonna] is letting him in a little bit in saying, 'Yeah, I'm sexually attracted to you,'" Jamie noted.

"Guys love to hear that, so I'd be like, 'Alright, alright. That's cool!"

But a lack of playful banter wasn't the only thing missing from Amber's relationship with Matt at this point in the Married at First Sight season.

Amber also expressed during the Unfiltered broadcast how Matt didn't seem ready for marriage and had a lot to change about himself in order to promise someone a lifetime commitment.

"I'm just feeling like Matt's biggest concern right now is Matt and what he needs to do in his life, and that's fine," Amber admitted.

"But he probably shouldn't have done this if he wasn't ready for forever... He needs to make efforts to change and to transform, and I just don't see that effort being made."

"All of this information is letting me know that Matt's not really ready for marriage at this point," Amber vented.
