Married at First Sight is returning to Texas for Season 13.

The thirteenth season of Married at First Sight was filmed in Houston,TX and will premiere with a megasized three-hour episode on Wednesday, July 21 at 8PM ET/PT. (The show's seventh season was also filmed in Texas, but in the city of Dallas.)

Prior to the premiere, Lifetime will air a Season 13 Matchmaking Special as well as a Kickoff Special.

The Married at First Sight: Matchmaking Special is set to air on Wednesday, July 7 at 8PM ET/PT and feature show experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Viviana Coles and Pastor Calvin Roberson selecting Houston-area singles to marry complete strangers.

Lifetime will subsequently air its Married at First Sight: Kick-Off Special hosted by Kevin Frazier on Wednesday, July 14 at 8PM ET/PT that will unveil never-before-seen moments from the selection process and "unreleased secrets" from the experts, serving as a countdown to Season 13's official premiere.

Similar to prior seasons, Married at First Sight's thirteenth season will feature strangers meeting at the wedding altar and then spending the next eight weeks embarking on a honeymoon, moving in together, and navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together.

And at the end of the experiment, Married at First Sight's five Season 13 couples will reach "Decision Day" and have to decide whether to remain married or decide to end their marriages and divorce.

The five brides appearing on Season 13 of Married at First Sight are Bao, Brett, Michaela, Myrla, and Rachel.

The five grooms on the new edition are Gil, Johnny, Jose, Ryan, and Zack.

The pairs of strangers to be married on Season 13 are Myrla and Gil, Brett and Ryan, Bao and Johnny, Michaela and Zack, and Rachel and Jose.
