The season also stars Elizabeth Bice, a 30-year-old accounting executive for her dad's company from South Carolina who was raised in Mooresville, NC, and Jamie Thompson, a 35-year-old technical consultant from Columbia, SC, as well as Iris Caldwell, a 27-year-old who works for a nonprofit from Raleigh, NC, and Keith Manley, a 27-year-old high school basketball coach from Greensboro, NC.

Married at First Sight, Episode 6

Married at First Sight's sixth episode of Season 9 began on Day 9 of marriage, with the couples leaving their honeymoon in Antigua and returning to their real lives in Charlotte, NC.

It was time for each couple to move in together, and the Married at First Sight experts provided them with a neutral space to live in. However, each couple had to spend their first night in Charlotte together in one of the spouse's home or apartment in order to get a taste of what his or her life is really like.

When Greg was given a tour of Deonna's town home, he was introduced to her dog Sandy and learned they'd have to take it slow -- just like his relationship with Deonna.

Greg found out Deonna had a lot of stuff to pack up, including about a dozen makeup brushes in the bathroom and a very full closet, but he was looking forward to sharing their lifestyle together.

Elizabeth then entered Jamie's space and realized his belongings had been perfectly placed. Jamie was really organized and Elizabeth was impressed, but she admitted to cameras he was "freakishly neat."

Amber and Matt stayed at Matt's friend's house and then Keith welcomed Iris into his "humble abode." Keith figured Iris would push him to become a better man.

Iris finds condoms at Keith's place

On Day 10 of marriage, Iris discovered Keith hated folding laundry and so he had full laundry bins of clean clothes. She started going through his things, including his refrigerator, and then found a large empty condom box.

The fact the box was empty made Iris feel "upset," because she wondered whom he had used them all on. When Iris confronted Keith about the empty box, he said he had packed the condoms for his honeymoon.

"Ahh, you didn't know what kind of girl you would marry!" Iris said.

"I didn't know. You've got to be prepared for anything, right?" Keith replied.

But Iris still didn't know how to feel. She certainly wasn't a happy camper about the situation and said she had to "figure it all out" in her head.

Iris then went through Keith's bag and saw he had packed only three condoms. Iris therefore feared Keith had a lot of sex prior to their wedding day since most of the condoms had been used.

Keith told Iris they should tackle their own issues going forward and focus on themselves and their relationship rather than on irrelevant issues of their past. With that being said, Iris agreed to let it go and hugged her husband.

"Those lips are mine!" she said.

"I know that," Keith noted with a smile.

Matt shows Amber his transient lifestyle

Meanwhile, Matt wasn't worried about moving in with Amber because things had been going well. He didn't have a lot to pack up since he typically lives out of a suitcase, so he told Amber the transition would be easy for him.

Matt, however, said the only thing he had to contribute to a new apartment would be himself and his clothes since he had always been on the road and never really settled down. He had played pro basketball overseas for the last seven years.

"Matt's transient lifestyle definitely worries me. Seeing [his former] place, it's really hard to learn about him. It doesn't worry me Matt has such little stuff, it's just more of the actions behind having such little stuff -- the fact he could leave in an instant," Amber told the cameras.

Afterward, Iris and Keith sat down to chat with Pastor Calvin Roberson. Iris revealed she loves to cook and would have to get adjusted to the fact she's a morning person and Keith is not.

Pastor Cal then asked them to discuss finances and bills. Iris was used to being independent and single, so she had to remember she's married now. Iris had to get over the fact Keith was still a stranger to her.

Pastor Cal also advised Iris and Keith not to worry about sex and "let that become a thing" since Iris was a virgin. They were clearly attracted to each other and communicated well, so Pastor Cal told them to just let it happen naturally and enjoy it then.

Keith wanted to be physically intimate with Iris, but he was willing to wait as long as it took for Iris to be ready. He didn't want to rush anything.

Jamie was then shown touring Elizabeth's place and meeting her furbabies. Jamie said Elizabeth's place was cluttered and nothing matched, which represented her colorful and crazy personality.

Pastor Cal sat down with Elizabeth and Jamie next. Elizabeth said they butted heads sometimes with communication but were working on that.

Pastor Cal told them to have "a naked moment" every now and then when something was bothering them, meaning they should remove phones and the television from the situation and just lock into each other and word vomit what they're feeling emotionally.

Pastor Cal meets with Matt and Amber

Pastor Cal then made his way over to Amber's place, where Matt hilariously broke her shower curtain by accident because he's so tall.

Amber revealed she had never lived with a man before, while Matt had actually cohabitated with "a few girlfriends."

Amber told Pastor Cal in private that she was happy and liked Matt a lot, adding they had already connected physically during the honeymoon. She said there was no issue physically.

"My heart is falling, and it's scary -- to only know someone for a week-and-a-half but think about forever with him," Amber shared.

Amber told Pastor Cal that she wanted Matt to plant roots and eventually have children with her. She worried the idea of settling down scared Matt, especially since Amber already had abandonment and rejection issues from her mother leaving when she was seven years old.

Amber wanted Matt to care about her just as much as she cared about him.

Pastor Cal then sat down with Matt privately and shared how Amber thought the world of him. Matt was glad to hear that, but at the same time, he feared Amber's feelings might change or she might end up being disappointed in him.

Matt also acknowledged he worried his feelings about Amber might eventually change.

"Can you see yourself developing love for her at some point?" Pastor Cal asked.

"I do, yeah," Matt said.

"I probably should tell her more but I'm not good at being all cheesy and corny. But I think it's a possibility... I'm definitely ready to put the work and the time in to see if we can grow. I just hope that doesn't fade, like one day it's not there."

Pastor Cal needed Amber and Matt to drop their walls, be vulnerable and let each other in -- or else they might end up talking themselves out of what could be a very successful and fulfilling marriage.

Once the pair reunited, Amber admitted she didn't want Matt to leave her and sign another basketball contract. Matt was hoping that wouldn't be the case, but he didn't seem entirely sure.

Matt and Amber shared how finances had been their biggest conflict so far because Matt wants to be able to pay for things and provide, but Pastor Cal noted men have to relinquish some of their chivalrism in a marriage.

Matt, however, expressed how it felt good to know Amber was going to be there for him and support him through his next business venture.

Deonna and Greg meet with Pastor Cal

Deonna soon discovered Greg lived in a four bedroom, three bathroom house that was very clean. She was impressed and thought it was huge. Greg even had two ovens in the kitchen, a screened porch, a deck and a whole unfinished basement.

Deonna and Greg then spoke to Pastor Cal, and Greg called his wife "amazing," adding that things were "so far so good."

Deonna admitted she and Greg were opposites but also similar at the same time. Deonna said areas for opportunity happened to be Greg's strengths and vice versa.

Deonna, however, was worried about how Greg would adjust to having Sandy around since she's a tad physical and sheds a lot. Greg planned to step up in the cleaning department so dog hair wouldn't be all over the place.

But Pastor Cal said these are typical issues for newly-married couples. He just didn't want them to put up any walls or fail at communicating.

Greg then shared how he and Deonna had yet to consummate their marriage. While he seemed okay with going slow, Greg appeared a little frustrated all they were doing was kissing.

Deonna explained her hesitation stemmed from her past given she had been alone for so long. She wanted to take her time but not go so slow that Greg would get turned off.

Deonna said she was "trying" to advance things in the romance department and it helped Greg was holding back on the compliments. Pastor Cal found the fact Deonna didn't like receiving compliments to be very "unusual," and he asked her to stop overthinking things.

Married at First Sight, Day 12

On Day 12 of marriage, Matt said he was experiencing a lot of thoughts, feelings and emotions given this could be the last time he unpacked his bags.

It was moving day for all four couples, and everyone seemed excited.

Jamie and Elizabeth said it "felt good" to move in with each other, and Elizabeth acknowledged it didn't matter where they stayed because Jamie would make life better.

Jamie was a little shocked to see Elizabeth let her dog drink out of one of their nice glasses, but he was a good sport about it.

When Elizabeth later asked Jamie what he thought about her dogs, however, he said they were "a lot" and worried about the state of cleanliness -- or lack thereof -- in their new apartment.

Elizabeth said her dogs were attention-seeking and that was her fault. The couple also brought Jamie's cat into the picture, and Elizabeth was thrilled to have a third pet.

Elizabeth then fanned white sage through the apartment to clear it of any negative energy. Jamie supported Elizabeth's interests and said his motto with his wife was going to be "just roll with it." Elizabeth was glad Jamie appreciated her "weirdness."

Meanwhile, Matt told the cameras he had bounced around for the last 15 to 20 years so he had no doubt he'd be comfortable and adjust to their new apartment quickly. He just hoped Amber would be able to settle in nicely and he could make her happy.

Matt showed Amber old photos, his little elephant collection and more, and she was glad to see a little insight into who her husband is as a person.

And when Iris and Keith were unpacking their belongings in the new house, Keith learned Iris had a lot of rules -- like not sitting on the pillows. Keith anticipated there being challenges because Iris was very regimented, but he said it was just something he'd have to get used to.

Amber gets upset at Matt

But then Matt and Amber were shown running into a little issue. Matt was setting up his toothpaste, cologne and more in the guest bathroom, but Amber pointed out he was her husband and not just a roommate.

"You're not my roommate. I don't have sex with my roommates," Amber told her husband. "I don't understand why you want to have your own space away from me."

"It's not that," Matt noted.

"Do you just want to sleep in [the guest] bedroom too?" Amber asked.

"No," he replied.

"That's what it feels like. Are you a guest in this house or are we living together?" Amber questioned.

Greg was also left with very little closet space because of Deonna's possessions. He hoped she'd be willing to compromise a bit, but Greg noted a happy wife is a happy life.

Greg and Sandy also got along, so that made Deonna feel really good.

"Did you see how attached she is to me?" Greg asked Deonna of Sandy. "Now if I can just get you to do that!"

Greg wanted to increase the intimacy in his marriage, but he had faith they'd get there.

Amber admits she overreacted to Matt

That night, Amber admitted to Matt she had been "hypersensitive" because it upsets her when a loved one creates distance from her. Matt said he was just trying to use the extra space and even thought Amber would be happy to have more free counter space in the main bathroom.

Amber and Matt, however, agreed they never wanted to be a couple who sleeps in separate rooms or anything like that.

Amber's behavior raised some concerns for Matt, but he said it wasn't a big deal and they'd share the main bathroom going forward. Amber apologized for overreacting, and Matt was sweet about it and just brushed off the conflict.

That night, Elizabeth put a face mask on Jamie before bed and they had some "sexy time," which meant her two dogs had to leave the bed.

It was a new beginning for all four couples and each couple seemed to have so much growth and potential.

"I'm looking forward to many more years with my wife," Greg told the cameras.

"This is going to be home for us," Matt said. "That's something I haven't had in a long time. I'm happy; it feels good."

And Keith sweetly told his wife, "One day down -- a million more to go."
