Married at First Sight alum Jamie Otis is in shock and disbelief Mindy Shiben's close friend Lindsay backstabbed her by sparking up a secret friendship with Zach Justice.

On Married at First Sight's tenth season, Mindy discovered Lindsay allegedly contacted Zach on Instagram and then began talking to him via text and on the phone without Mindy having any knowledge of their blossoming friendship.

Zach told Mindy in a recent Season 10 episode it had been a few days since he last spoke to Lindsay, but Lindsay assured Mindy on the phone Zach had just texted her that morning and their conversations weren't always about Mindy or marriage.

A disappointed and frustrated Mindy was fed two different stories from Zach and Lindsay, but one thing was consistent -- they had both deleted their text-message chains.

On the March 18 broadcast of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, host Jamie Otis asked Season 10 bride Katie Conrad, "Whom do you think deserves more of Mindy's anger here -- Zach or Lindsay?"

"Uhh, I think I would be more angry with the friend," Katie admitted.

"I feel like for the friend to not tell her until Zach [came clean], that's more fishy to me than what, like, Zach did," Katie shared.

Zach informed Mindy of his conversations with Lindsay only after Mindy asked whether he had developed a relationship with any of her friends -- besides the obvious Shannie -- after the wedding.

Zach explained that once Lindsay reached out to him on social media, they exchanged phone numbers and he chose to confide in her and seek advice on how to best deal with Mindy and move forward in his marriage after their rocky honeymoon.

But Jamie, Katie and fellow Unfiltered guest Marred at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson believed Lindsay had a different motive for befriending Zach rather than looking out for Mindy's best interests.

"To me, it seems like maybe [Lindsay] had been coming onto you, but you said, 'No,' and now all of a sudden, she's like [ratting you out]," Jamie began.

"Right, now I know that," Zach said.

When Mindy confronted Lindsay on the phone, Lindsay accused Zach of manipulating things.

"So I said, 'I'm not going to talk to you again until filming is over,' like, 'We're done,'" Lindsay recalled to Mindy.

Mindy found it strange Lindsay apparently intended to resume talking to Zach once filming ended, but Lindsay promised Mindy that she would block his number.

"I should [block him]. You're 100 percent right. I can do that right when I get off the phone with you. I have no interest in ever talking to him again. I think he's a liar and a sociopath," Lindsay told Mindy.

Zach therefore reasoned on Unfiltered, "Just after looking back at it and having conversations with you guys, it's like, [Lindsay] is not only there to help me. It may appear that way, but there's probably more to it."

Jamie insisted there was definitely more behind Lindsay's decision to strike up what initially appeared to be an innocent conversation.

"It's because she thought you were hot on the wedding day and she knows you guys were having a rift in your relationship and so she's like, 'Oh, let me be the one to go in there and connect,'" Jamie reasoned.

Jamie then vented about Lindsay, "What a slimy friend!"

"Lindsay, I hope you're watching this, seriously," Jamie noted while looking into the cameras.

Katie and Pastor Cal both cracked up laughing after Jamie spoke her mind and said her piece.

In the latest episode of Married at First Sight that aired on Wednesday night, Zach insisted to Pastor Cal he was being faithful to Mindy and wanted to try to make his marriage work.

Zach and Mindy therefore chose to stay together on "Recommitment Day," despite Pastor Cal's concerns Zach was on the show for the cameras and to build his fitness or modeling career.

Although Zach promised to put more effort into his relationship, the episode ended with him refusing to sleep in the same bedroom as Mindy, leaving her feeling rejected and alone, once again.

Married at First Sight's tenth season also stars Katie's husband Derek Sherman, Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid, Meka Jones and Michael Watson, and Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd.
