The new eight-episode series will welcome some fresh faces and also bring back participants and unmatched candidates from previous Married at First Sight seasons. These cast members will be given another shot to find love at first sight.
The group of 16 participants will be invited to an exotic island for the opportunity to make deep connections and work on falling in love.
At the end of their stay, couples must decide whether they want to get married or leave the island alone.
The series is produced by Kinetic Content and executive produced by Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Cat Rodriguez, Ally Simpson, and Gena McCarthy.
Jessica began dropping clues about this project back on August 6, when she posted a photo of her passport and wrote that she was about to board a plane at Worcester Airport in Massachusetts for "work" in an international location.
Jessica later gushed she was "doing top secret stuff in top secret location," while Calvin posted an Instagram photo of a sandy resort beach with palm trees, umbrellas and lounge chairs.

Bryan primarily likes meeting women in person -- whether at events, activities, or in everyday life -- because he doesn't think his personality and sense of humor necessarily translate well online and through dating apps.
Bryan believes he is single because he is having a tough time meeting a woman who is the complete package. He made it far during Season 4 of Married at First Sight, but ultimately the experts were unable to find his perfect match. Bryan is hopeful that his soulmate is waiting for him on Honeymoon Island.
- Chris Perry, a 29-year-old musician, personal trainer and youth counselor from Binghamton, NY
Chris considers his longest relationship of two years to be a trial run, preparing him for a serious, life-long commitment. He typically meets girls at the gym or online, but he tends to run into trouble meeting girls on apps because they think they are being catfished.
A romantic guy at heart, Chris is ready to ditch the apps and find the perfect girl he can spoil regularly and bring home to meet his mom. Chris feels that Honeymoon Island will introduce him to women who are at the same stage in their lives and together they will find love.
- Corey Saunders, a 31-year-old founder and CEO of BEFIT from Boston, MA
Corey has had trouble with relationships as his schedule is super hectic at times. He was named Boston's Most Eligible Bachelor in 2017 and considered doing the sixth season of Married at First Sight, but the fact that he had no way of knowing who would be at the altar scared him into withdrawing from the process.
He's put love on the back-burner in the past because he's spent years focusing on his business and career. Corey is now ready to jump head-first into finding love. Honeymoon Island is an amazing way for him to meet the woman of his dreams while still having complete control over the process.
- Eric Acosta, a 31-year-old entrepreneur from Denver, CO
Eric is a hopeless romantic and dreamer. While he is an optimist and a free spirit, Eric is also a driven entrepreneur. His last serious relationship actually ended after a year-and-a-half in part due to the amount of travel he has to do for work.
The Married at First Sight process is intriguing to him, and he is ready to let his heart lead instead of his head on Honeymoon Island. A firm believer that love can happen anywhere and at any moment, he is ready to act upon the opportunity in front of him that Honeymoon Island presents.
Jona applied for Married at First Sight's fourth season in Miami, FL, and made it far in the experiment. He says that producers called him to tell him he was matched, but minutes later he was told that his match withdrew from the process.
Jona is single because he wants a real relationship, not something casual. The MAFS process showed Jona just how much energy, care, and attention goes into finding people their perfect match. He wants to make finding love, getting married, and starting a family his priority. He is hopeful to meet his dream girl on Honeymoon Island.
- Shannon Raddler, a 33-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Atlanta, GA
Shannon had a great experience dating Vanessa Nelson on Married at First Sight: Second Chances in Atlanta. He was attracted to her for her beauty on the inside and out, and while he definitely wasn't ready to get engaged or married by the end of filming, he was disappointed that she didn't choose him, as he really wanted to continue to get to know her on a deeper level.
Shannon is excited about the second chance he will get on Honeymoon Island and is hopeful he will find someone to share his life with.
- Travis Dalton, a 30-year-old aerospace engineer from Bluffton, SC
Travis signed up to be on Honeymoon Island, because he wants to find love. Not an average love, a GREAT love. He has an awesome job that he enjoys and lives in a location that he loves; he's just missing someone to share all of that with!
After watching his sister find love after MAFS: Second Chances, Travis realized that you never know where you will find your person. He is hopeful that Honeymoon Island will introduce him to the love of his life.
- Tyler Moody, a 26-year-old construction company owner from Greeley, CO
Having established himself in his career, Tyler thinks that the timing of Honeymoon Island couldn't be more perfect. While he doesn't have any issue meeting women, he cannot seem to find the quality woman he desires.
As a risk taker, Tyler knows the reward of potentially finding the love of his life on the island is worth taking the leap. Tyler can't wait to meet his perfect match.
- Brandin Brosh, a 28-year-old clothing boutique owner from Biloxi, MS
Brandin's longest relationship lasted for three-and-a-half years with her college boyfriend. He was her best friend and she really thought they would get married, but she caught him cheating on her, so she changed the locks and they broke it off via text.
Brandin partially blames Mississippi for why she's still single. The good guys either end up moving away to go to college and never come back or they get married young, and she's not about to settle for someone who isn't perfect for her. Tired of wishing for Mr. Right, Brandin believes that love will finally find her on Honeymoon Island.
Isabella believes she's single because she hasn't met anyone interesting enough to get to know. She admittedly has high standards, but she is ready and willing to commit for the right man.
Isabella made it to the final round on Married at first Sight: Second Chances, but in the end, she was not the right match for David Norton. She's tired of being single and really wants to find that special someone to spend the rest of her life with. She is excited for another opportunity at love on Honeymoon Island.
- Jada Rashawn, a 27-year-old professional nanny placement specialist and brand spokesperson from San Antonio, TX
Jada's single because she hasn't found the right guy and she's unwilling to settle. Ultimately, she feels San Antonio is partially to blame. Not only do most people marry their high school sweethearts upon graduation, but there aren't many people of color or people interested in dating people of color.
Jada knows who she is and what she has to offer in a relationship and is ready to find the man of her dreams with whom she can share the rest of her life. Honeymoon Island -- here she comes!
A huge fan of Married at First Sight, Jocelyn loves the relationship that Cortney and Jason share. She's excited about the possibility of finding love on a show similar to MAFS. At thirty years old, Jocelyn knows time is of the essence if she wants to have children, and swiping for men on dating apps isn't working.
She's a smart businesswoman who has every aspect of her life exactly where she wants it. The only thing missing is a life partner with whom she can share her successes. Jocelyn is excited by the opportunity to meet her soulmate on Honeymoon Island.
- Katie Muller, a 28-year-old in digital advertising from Denver, CO
Katie is an adventure seeker who typically meets men through friends and dating apps but hasn't found the one. Katie wants to find a guy who is as interesting and dynamic as she is so that they can share their life together.
When Katie is in love, it is all consuming. She owns her own place, has a successful career, and wants to take the ultimate leap at finding love on Honeymoon Island.
- Kimber Gardner, a 28-year-old medical sales representative from Las Vegas, NV
Kimber is hoping that her soulmate will be waiting for her on Honeymoon Island. Love is the only thing she feels she is missing out on. She firmly believes that if couples are able to find true, lasting love on Married at First Sight, there is no reason she can't find love on the island.
Fiercely competitive in her job, Kimber is hoping those skills translate to life on the island. If she can find a man there who is just as career-focused, motivated, and fun-loving as she is, nothing will stop her from getting what she wants.
- Lizzie Muse, a 30-year-old Kundalini yoga teacher from Boston, MA
After striking out on dating sites and apps, Lizzie decided to hire a dating coach. Since her dating coach was unable to find her a partner, she jumped when Married at First Sight presented itself in Boston for season six.
Unfortunately, the panel of experts was unable to find a match for Lizzie, but she firmly believes that the universe has presented her with a second opportunity of a lifetime on Honeymoon Island. She can be herself and go full-throttle with her heart on her sleeve in her dream atmosphere: the beautiful outdoors with new people and exciting adventures!
Mekalya knew she was ready to find the one and applied for Season 4 of Married At First Sight. Having tried on wedding dresses, Mekalya was all set to marry a stranger until she found out her match fell through. Saddened by the thought that the opportunity to marry her soulmate had passed her by, Mekalya is ready for love once again.
She thinks this time, she'll find the man she's meant to spend the rest of her life with. Mekalya believes the real reason her groom left her at the altar in the MAFS experiment was because the real love of her life is someone she is destined to meet on Honeymoon Island! Everything happens for a reason.
