FYI has announced it's ordered Married at First Sight: The First Year, a new reality series that will follow the two couples who wed and successfully found lasting love on the new highly-rated series Married at First Sight.

Production has already begun on the new spinoff which is slated to premiere in 2015 and will chronicle the two couples who remained married: Jason Carrion and Cortney Hendrix as well as Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis, a former The Bachelor bachelorette.

The couples will be documented on their daily journeys as newlyweds from the six-month mark of marriage to their March 2015 one-year anniversary.

On the September 9 season finale of Married at First Sight, the three couples matched together by a panel of experts had to decide whether they'd like to continue married life together or get a divorce.

The experts will continue to offer the two couples advice and guidance.

"Married at First Sight has truly captured viewers' attention by bringing viewers in on our subjects' authentic quest for true love," said FYI executive Gena McCarthy.

"It was a natural fit to follow-up with the two married couples post experiment. Viewers will now see them as they embark on one of the most challenging times in married couples' lives -- the first year."

Married at First Sight is currently casting for its second season.

Married at First Sight is produced by Kinetic Content and executive produced by Chris Coelen, Sam Dean, McCarthy and Liz Fine.
