Jessica, a clinical and forensic psychologist with expertise in trauma, relationships, and high conflict divorce, will not be part of the next season of Married at First Sight after participating in three editions of the show, People reported.

Jessica served as a matchmaking expert and couples' counselor alongside Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson on Married at First Sight. She also guided participants on the reality franchise's Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island spinoff, which aired on Lifetime in 2018.

It's unclear why exactly Jessica has chosen to leave the reality series, but a source told People she wants to focus on her family and love life.

Jessica met her current boyfriend Jonathan Francetic, who both live in greater Boston area, while filming Married at First Sight's sixth season in Fall 2017.

Jessica and Jonathan only began dating after the financial associate divorced his Married at First Sight wife, Molly Duff, who complained all season long she wasn't attracted to Jonathan.

Jessica and Jonathan then went public with their relationship in Summer 2018.

"Jessica and Jon are very happy together. She wants to focus on her family and their relationship," a friend of the couple told the magazine.

Jessica and Jonathan faced a bit of backlash when they first got together considering some fans thought their romance was "scandalous" or "inappropriate" given Jessica counseled Jonathan's marriage on the Lifetime show, but the pair have defended their love.

Critics also haven't stopped them from being mushy-gushy and open about their strong feelings for one another on social media.

In late March, Jessica shared a photo of Jonathan and her son at a school dance.

"My #mcm goes out to this guy @jon_francetic who cancelled his entire day today, dropping everything to go pick up my sick kid after the school called that he had gotten sick in his class... (I couldn't get there in time) and he spent day sending me pictures and updates and reassuring me until I could get home to my little guy," Jessica wrote.

"I know you never planned on signing up for the glamorous life of Lysol and five year old tears -- yet you always have my back and make my heart expand in ways I never thought possible. (Throwback photo from my son's special someone dance -- Jon was his 'special someone' -- kid's got good taste.)"

And in the fall of last year, Jonathan shared a picture of himself kissing Jessica on the lips.

"I am my most happy and content self when surrounded by the ocean. So you must understand, it's not the blue of ocean I see in your eyes. It's love, pure love," Jonathan gushed at the time.

Earlier today, Jessica also posted an Instagram Stories selfie photo showing the couple leaving Boston's Logan International Airport on a plane bound for Arizona.

In addition to her former role on Married at First Sight, Jessica also starred on three seasons of Seven Year Switch from 2015 to 2018. Both shows are produced by the same production company, Kinetic Content.

Married at First Sight's upcoming ninth season is scheduled to premiere in June on Lifetime and feature four new couples. The show will be moving to Wednesday nights and follow couples in the Charlotte, NC area.
