On Wednesday night's broadcast, Jephte was struggling with the idea of Shawniece not wanting to commit to having four kids, and he worried that if they took things one baby at a time, she might decide after two or three that she's done.

Shawniece wrote down a list of things she'd need from Jephte if she would feel comfortable with having four kids, and so she essentially came up with a plan for their family.

Shawniece explained she'd need a bigger place, health insurance, consistency with responsibilities and spending more time as a couple. Shawniece wanted to create a plan and set goals together with Jephte.

Jephte said he appreciated that Shawniece had taken the time to come up with a list, but he admitted that he was very upset and disappointed they couldn't start trying for a baby in February or March when Shawniece had initially promised.

"It forced me to sit down and think, like, really hard. And I think because of that, we should put a hold on baby and not start in the fall," Jephte explained to his wife. "I don't know, now I feel like my feet are cold."

Jephte said this situation threw him off "really bad" and so he needed more time before trying for another baby.

"I don't want to pressure her into something this big," Jephte explained in a confessional. "I feel like she may not be ready right now."

Jephte told Shawniece they should maintain "an open discussion," but Shawniece apparently felt "silly" because coming up with a list was her way of compromising with Jephte and coming up with a happy medium on how to move forward.

Shawniece said she and Jephte could never seem to agree on anything and were "never going to be on the same page." Jephte called Shawniece "pessimistic."

Shawniece yelled that she had come up with an ideas and a plan but it didn't mean they had to follow it. As the couple bickered and started to scream over each other, Shawniece said she was done with the conversation and it was "over and dead."

Shawniece told Jephte that they were never going to agree or see eye to eye, and Jephte said that's not the way to make a marriage work.

"Just keep doing that -- that's perfect. This is how things are going to work out," Jephte snapped.

The couple didn't reach a solution, and Shawniece admitted she was tired of arguing with Jephte. Shawniece said she just wanted to express herself to Jephte and have him understand how she was feeling.

"I shut down, so I am just ready to be over with the conversation," Shawniece noted, before telling her husband, "We can never get to the point where we're on the same page."

"Alright, I know," Jephte conceded. "We'll talk about this another time."

Meanwhile, Jessica and Austin babysat for her niece, Mila, at Jessica's sister's home.

"I've been thinking a lot about having kids. Austin and I talked about this early on, but I'm not sure he's as ready as I am right now," Jessica shared. "So I'm hoping spending the weekend with Mila shows Austin we are more ready than he thinks."

The couple had fun with Mila over the weekend, and Jessica could tell that Austin is going to make a great father.

Once Jessica and Austin returned home, Jessica asked Austin how he'd feel about starting a family soon. Austin seemed a little hesitant because they had moved into a new home and Jessica had just started a new job. In addition to that, they got a dog and just survived a pandemic.

"I don't want to rush into anything," Austin told his wife.

Austin explained to the cameras there's nothing he wants more than to be a father and that's part of the reason why he chose to get married at first sight; however, he just wanted to make sure he and Jessica were 100 percent ready.

Even though he and Jessica had rushed into marriage, Austin said he didn't want to rush into fatherhood.

"There's always going to be more projects around the house or something else to do or traveling, but I think that we are in a good place right now where we are definitely ready for a family of our own," Jessica shared with Austin.

Jessica said they were both stable in their careers and were confident in their relationship.

Austin therefore agreed to start the process of trying for a baby and expanding their family -- and Austin was ready to start right away.

And Anthony and Ashley had just welcomed Baby No. 1, Vaeda Marie, who weighed six pounds and measured 19 inches long.

Anthony shared with the cast via Zoom how Ashley had overcome two failed epidurals and so she "felt everything." Ashley was apparently in labor for 36 hours, but Anthony said their daughter Vaeda arrived and looked "happy, healthy and full of hair."

Ashley was concerned about her other daughter Mila's feelings and whether she'd be okay with a new baby in the house. Ashley just hoped her two daughters would grow to have the same close relationship that she had with her own sister growing up.

When Mila met Vaeda for the first time, Vaeda seemed very happy and excited. Vaeda held the baby, and Ashley couldn't believe she and Anthony had already become a family of four.

Vaeda just had to learn how to be gentle with her baby sister.

As for Jamie and Doug, they had to clean their Florida home because Doug's parents were going to visit and stay with the kids for a weekend. It sparked an argument because Doug was playing video games while Jamie was cleaning and watching the two kids.

Doug said he had a lot more responsibility at home as a stay-at-home dad and just wanted a few minutes to himself to relax.

After their fight, the couple enjoyed a little getaway for their seven-year anniversary trip to Vero Beach, FL, after not having a night alone for a year. Jamie revealed she and Doug would like to have four kids.

Jamie hoped to reconnect with Doug on this trip because she said they really needed it. Doug agreed he and Jamie had been at odds because they were always interacting with two screaming kids around.

The couple enjoyed a nice breakfast on a balcony and then went jetskiing. It was a nice escape for Jamie and Doug as husband and wife.

Despite their ups and downs, Doug said he wouldn't change a thing about their relationship.

While Jamie and Doug were celebrating a few moments of freedom, Deonna and Greg were anticipating the birth of their first child soon.

Doug therefore practiced putting diapers on a doll. The couple was only a few weeks away from their baby's due date, and Greg admitted he was "a little bit nervous" because he had never really taken care of a baby before and Deonna had more life experience.

"It's scaring me right now, can I handle all of that responsibility?" Greg questioned.

"You're going to be a great dad," Deonna said, after suggesting Greg could reach out to another MAFS father for some guidance and advice.

Greg therefore videochatted with Anthony, who admitted taking care of a baby can make a person "punch-yourself-in-the-face tired."

The episode also featured Kristine gifting Keith a virtual-reality game that he absolutely loved.
