Nicole took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 16 and posted two pictures of the Married at First Sight couple holding champagne and a housewarming basket of gifts.

In one of the photos, Nicole and her husband were posing with their realtor.

"We're officially homeowners!!!" Nicole gushed. "So happy to start this next chapter of life with my amazing husband @thielky2."

She added, "Thank you @themorrellpropertycollective for all of your help finding our dream home."

And Chris gushed on his own Instagram page, "Me and @nicoley_woley officially are home owners and closed on our house today! We are so excited for the next chapter in our life and excited to make this place our new home!"

"The dogs are going to go nuts over the big yard!" he continued of the pair's three dogs. "Very appreciative of all the love and support from friends family and fans of the show!"

Chris also included the following hashtags in his post: "#MAFS #Homeowners #Home #family #dogparents #nextchapter #lifechanger #memories and #compassreality."

Hours later, Nicole uploaded a photo of Chris and herself on a plane via Instagram Stories.

"Sleepy plane selfie but we're FINALLY on our way to our proper honeymoon," Nicole captioned the photo on Thursday, August 17.

On Married at First Sight's sixteenth season, Nicole and Chris had to share their honeymoon in Jamaica with the other couples.

They also experienced some hardship when Chris learned the Nashville apartment they were about to move in to wasn't going to allow all three of their dogs.

Nicole has also officially changed her last name to Thielk, based on her new Instagram profile name.

Chris and Nicole were the only couple to come out of Married at First Sight 16, which was based in Nashville, still married and happy.

The season's other four couples -- Gina Micheletti and Clint Webb, Airris Williams and Jasmine Secrest, Kirsten Grimes and Shaquille Dillon, and Domynique Kloss and Mackinley Gilbert -- all chose to get a divorce on Decision Day.

Nicole and Chris had a very healthy and communicative relationship on the show, but Nicole needed to work through some insecurities and trust that Chris wouldn't hurt her or leave her.

Over the passing weeks of the extreme experiment, the couple grew their emotional and physical intimacy, and they developed a mutual respect and admiration for each other.

At the end of the season Nicole and Chris were deeply in love, however, Chris suggested to Nicole they could live apart and take their time picking out a new place. Nicole, on the other hand, wanted to buy a house and live together as soon as possible.

Nicole was afraid distance would cause their strong romance to crumble, and she didn't understand why Chris was dragging his feet on taking the next step in their relationship.

As far as the future goes, Chris -- who definitely wants kids -- and Nicole -- who claimed to be unsure of whether she wants a child -- decided on the show's Season 16 finale to travel and enjoy being spouses for a while before starting a family.
