Maksim Chmerkovskiy may not have found lasting love after starring on the Ukrainian version of The Bachelor, but now he's taking his chances with a fellow Dancing with the Stars professional.

"Maks wanted a girlfriend," a source told Us. "Peta is really sweet and an amazing girl who had a crush on him for a long time."
The couple just recently got together but are reportedly already serious about each other.
"They are really happy together and having a great time," the source added.
Murgatroyd isn't the first girl Chmerkovskiy dated who has graced the Dancing with the Stars stage. He was previously engaged to fellow pro dancer Karina Smirnoff. Chmerkovskiy proposed to Smirnoff in 2008, but the couple called it quits the following year.
Chmerkovskiy was paired up with fourteenth-season Dancing with the Stars contestant Melissa Gilbert, but the couple got eliminated during last week's live results show in a special double-elimination twist. Murgatroyd is still in the running, along with three other couples, for the Dancing with the Stars title alongside partner and NFL player Donald Driver.
Murgatroyd made her debut as a professional partner last season after previously being a member of the Dancing with the Stars troupe, while this season was the twelfth Dancing with the Stars edition for Chmerkovskiy, who joined the show for its second season back in 2006.
