Luke Stone, known to the world as Luke S., is explaining why he suddenly decided to quit The Bachelorette and leave Hannah Brown before a Rose Ceremony following dragged-out drama with Luke Parker.

Luke S., a 29-year-old political consultant from Washington, D.C., abruptly decided to leave the show before Hannah started handing out roses at the beginning of Tuesday night's The Bachelorette episode.

While Luke S. warned Hannah to keep an eye on Luke P. before he exited, he didn't really disclose the reasons behind his choice to pack up his things and go.

"To me, being there, I felt like she didn't trust me," Luke S. shared during a Wednesday appearance on Good Morning America's "Strahan & Sara" show with Michael Strahan and Sara Haines.

"And I think that was enough for me to leave, because trust is the basis of any relationship. Without trust you can't have a relationship, and when I felt like I had lost that, that was when I felt I needed to leave."

Luke S. rehashed how his issues with Luke P. came to a head during the rugby game in which Luke P. clearly body-slammed him to the ground. (Hannah missed the action, although she was standing on the sidelines).

"I mean, it was so fast, the [whole] situation. It's obviously a really intense game. We're out there, really smacking each other hard. And it was all well and good," Luke S. began.

"My issue with him during that particular play that went down was that he had thrown me into a crowd, and I was worried he would end up hurting someone if he kept doing stuff like that."

Luke S. therefore told Michael and Sara that he jogged up to Luke P. to let him know, "Hey, please don't do that again."

"But obviously I was a little more animated than that," Luke S. said with a laugh.

When Luke P. told his side of the story to Hannah on The Bachelorette, he insisted he had acted so aggressively on the field because Luke S. came running at him, yelling and with clenched fists.

"But It was so fast, it was like blindingly quick, that he just picked me up and threw me down. It was crazy. It was fast!" Luke S. recalled of the body-slam.

However, Luke S. claimed his departure wasn't solely based on his conflict with Luke P.

"A lot of people seemed to think that it stemmed from the whole Luke P. situation, which it does, that was the catalyst. I think for me that night, it was long and it was hard, and I was trying my best to try to communicate with Hannah to see where her head was at," Luke S. explained of his conversation with Hannah prior to quitting.

Hannah apparently seemed skeptical of his story and intentions at that point, especially because Luke P. had told her Luke S. was on the show to promote his tequila company -- a claim Luke S. completely denied.

Luke P. went on to receive a one-on-one date with Hannah in Scotland, but because he couldn't  successfully communicate his feelings and emotions, Hannah denied him the date's rose.

Luke, however, was not eliminated and it's possible Hannah may decide to give him a rose at the next Rose Ceremony in Scotland.
