Love After Lockup's second season follows couples who met and fell in love online while one of them was behind bars.

After the convicts were released from prison and united with their significant others for the first time outside of supervised visits, the couples have tried to navigate the real world together.

At this point in the season, couples are looking to marry, move in together, or just get through life one day at a time in attempt to leave each convict's addiction or struggle in the past.

The latest episode starred Scott, a 51-year-old truck driver, and Lizzie from Oxnard, CA; Clint, a 37-year-old hotel desk clerk, and Tracie from Hobbs, NM; Marcelino, a 40-year-old writer, and Brittany from Las Vegas, NV; Caitlin, a 32-year-old administrative assistant, and Matt from Auburn, WA; and Megan, a 28-year-old in home health care, and Michael from Fort Worth, TX -- with Michael's wife, Sarah, a 24-year-old student and waitress making for a dramatic love triangle.

Below is an update on each Love After Lockup couple, according to WE tv's Friday night episode:

SCOTT AND LIZZIE

Lizzie had been arrested for DUI and bribery and spent nine years behind bars.

Lizzie went on a shopping spree with her friend Mel -- who had been released from prison one week earlier than Lizzie -- in order to escape the stress of hanging out with her daughter and Scott all of the time.

Scott was in so much debt and had unpaid bills, not to mention his credit was shot -- but Lizzie didn't know any of this.

Lizzie suspected something was up, however, because one of Scott's credit cards got declined when he took her out for a fancy dinner.

Thankfully, Scott's card went through fine at the clothing store when Lizzie purchased nearly $2,000 worth of clothing. She was happy because she said she needed to trust Scott in order to marry him and make things work long term.

Mel worried Lizzie was addicted to getting money from men and that she was just using Scott for financial gain. Mel also didn't think Lizzie was really in love with Scott.

Lizzie admitted she used to be "a gold digger" but she really loved Scott and using him wasn't "in [her] blood anymore." Lizzie insisted she had changed her ways and was leading a holy life.

When Lizzie got home, her daughter was not pleased to see her mother had spent so much of Scott's money. Jazmyne said her mother needed to grow up and stop depending on a man for everything.

Jazmyne called Lizzie "selfish" and "a greedy b-tch," saying she was addicted to spending money.

MEGAN AND MICHAEL (PLUS HIS WIFE SARAH)

Michael served two years in prison for parole violation.

He was seven weeks out of prison and planned to dump Megan in order to make things work with his daughter's mother, Sarah.

Michael picked Megan up at the airport in Rochester, NY, and she was looking forward to being with Michael and spending some alone time with him on this trip.

But first, Michael needed to meet his parole officer at 6PM, and it was 5:30PM at the time Megan arrived.

Megan thought they had plenty of time to make Michael's appointment, but it turned out his meeting was 41 minutes away. Michael was afraid to be late because he had previously stayed out past curfew to be with Megan.

Once Michael met his parole officer, he was arrested again for violating his parole. Not only was Michael late, but the officer also noted he shouldn't be driving a car. Michael apparently lied to Megan about being able to drive.

Megan tried not to freak out, but it was very difficult for her to watch Michael being taken away in handcuffs.

Michael's mother Caroline was incredibly upset over the prospect of losing her son again. She blamed Megan for Michael violating his parole, and so she noted Megan "had to go."

Michael's mother then showed up to Megan's hotel room to have a conversation. Caroline said Michael was going to be detained for four months, and she was heart broken to hear such news.

Megan thought Caroline was upset because she had been "very short" with her. Caroline didn't think it was her place to tell Megan about Sarah, but she hoped Michael was eventually going to handle the situation.

"I'm not going to cry. I'm not going to let this break me... I have to be strong for him... I love him," Megan explained, adding that she wasn't looking forward to her family and friends saying, "I told you so."

Sarah told her daughter that her dad was going to be gone for a while because he needed to work. Sarah was used to being away from her husband, but she was still mad and angry.

Sarah had 120 days to figure out how she was going to handle Michael's return. She didn't understand why he couldn't follow the rules and admitted her life was "shattered," especially considering she was pregnant again.

Sarah said it "didn't make sense" why Michael was late for his meeting with the parole officer and she wanted to look through his phone to find out what was going on.

CAITLIN AND MATT

Matt spent two years in jail for possession of firearms and stolen property.

Caitlin was deciding whether to have a formal funeral for her mother or just scatter her ashes in a meaningful and respectful way.

Caitlin felt more alone than she's ever been in her entire life. Caitlin was upset, stressed and quick to start a fight with Matt, but she really needed him to be tender and understanding.

Caitlin hoped her relationship would become stronger as a result of them going through such a difficult time together.

Caitlin wanted closure from her relationship with her mother, but she wasn't sure she was ever going to get it. Caitlin then picked up her mother's ashes up from a funeral director, and the appointment turned into a counseling session.

Matt tried to comfort and console Caitlin, but she just wasn't having it.

Caitlin was still waiting for Matt to get a job and settle down in an apartment with her. She said it had been months and Matt failed to complete any task she had given him to do.

Caitlin told the cameras she needed Matt to step up to the plate and put more effort into their relationship, but Matt had never been in a serious relationship before and didn't really know what he was doing.

Bickering escalated into a fight at the funeral home, and then Caitlin stormed out.

"I need him right now and he's just not f-cking there. For him to treat me that way when I'm f-cking picking up my mom, I deserve better!" Caitlin said in a confessional, before Matt threatened to leave the relationship.

CLINT AND TRACIE

Tracie served eight years in prison for fraudulent checks and probation violation.

Tracie had been arrested two times since her wedding day with Clint, but she apparently still wanted to stay married and be Clint's wife.

Clint got Tracie a lawyer and planned to continue paying for her legal fees because he loved her. Clint's friends thought he was crazy and needed to break things off with Tracie.

Clint drove all the way down to the jail hoping to see Tracie, but once he arrived, he was told over the phone by Tracie's lawyer he couldn't see her. Clint was devastated but had every intent of "sticking with her until the end."

MARCELINO AND BRITTANY

Brittany served two years in prison for conspiracy to commit burglary.

Brittany and Marcelino took Brittany's son to the park and they had so much fun together. Brittany had yet to tell Marcelino she was pregnant, and she was very nervous to share that information.

Brittany was over her romance with Amanda, saying she was on a different path now and Marcelino was her serious boyfriend.

Brittany was focused on her relationship with Marcelino, becoming a family and building a home now that they had their own place. Marcelino cared greatly for Brittany's son Jovani.

Once they got home from the park, Brittany sat Marcelino down in the living room and told him that she's pregnant. Marcelino gave her a hug and said, "That's great!" He actually felt "ecstatic" and "overjoyed."

Marcelino felt like he had won the lottery, and Brittany was thrilled Marcelino took the news so well. Marcelino knew a lot of responsibility was ahead, but he was looking forward to becoming a dad.
