Each one-hour Blush episode will follow the contestants as they live together in Los Angeles and compete in two different makeup-theme competitions designed to test their skills and personality traits.

In Style fashion director Hal Rubenstein and industry make-up artist Joanna Schlip will serve as judges and eliminate one contestant at the conclusion of each episode.

The last contestant standing will receive a contract as a professional Max Factor make-up artist , a cash prize of $100,000 and the opportunity to be the make-up artist for an upcoming In Style photo shoot.

Actress Vanessa Marcil will serve as the show's host, while celebrity make-up artist Charlie Green will mentor the contestants.

Lifetime ordered Blush in August, and the six-episode series is produced by IMG Entertainment and connectivetissueTM.

In addition to Blush, Lifetime had also originally planned to premiere Project Runway's sixth season in November after acquiring the show from Bravo earlier this year.  However Lifetime recently revealed that Project Runway's sixth season is now instead expected to premiere in January.
