Kristin Cavallari says she's relieved to not be participating in The Hills: New Beginnings, especially since she claims Audrina Patridge has already complained to her about filming.

"I'm excited to see it, like everybody else. I would love to do some sort of cameo or something. I can't, because of [my E! show Very Cavallari]," Kristin told Us Weekly of The Hills revival, which premieres Monday, June 24 on MTV.

"But yes, it would have been tough to kind of go back to that whole lifestyle and all of that drama."

The 32-year-old reality TV star and fashion designer then revealed Audrina, who starred on The Hills' original series with Kristin, may be having regrets about joining the cast.

"I talked to Audrina. She said it's been hard for her. So, yeah, I'm kind of happy that I kind of don't have to go back to that whole lifestyle," Kristin explained.

Back in December 2018, Audrina had positive things to say about her experience filming the revival.

"It's been great reconnecting with everyone and starting up where we left off basically," Audrina, 33, told Us. "It's been a wild ride, I'll tell you that."

Audrina will join most of the show's original stars when The Hills: New Beginnings debuts this summer -- including Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and Stephanie Pratt.

Kristin and Audrina both starred on The Hills when it initially aired from 2006 to 2010.

Kristin is now married to Jay Cutler with three children: Camden, 6, Jaxon, 4, and Saylor, 3.

"I wouldn't say I'm excited [for the kids to see The Hills]," Kristin admitted to the magazine.

"It's the one thing that they'll see at some point and I'll just have to have a real conversation with them about the experience and everything that went into it, and I'm cool with that. I like having a very open, honest relationship with my kids."

In addition to having starred on The Hills and Laguna Beach, Kristin also competed on the thirteenth season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Kristin and her pro partner Mark Ballas were the third couple eliminated from the competition.
