Kris Jenner had reportedly been wanting her son Rob Kardashian to add on to his already self-described 40-pound weight gain.

A source close to the Kardashian family said Jenner, Kardashian's "momager," had wanted her 26-years-old son -- who recently began attempting to lose weight after topping 240 pounds  -- to continue putting on the pounds weight so she could book a weight-loss deal for him, In Touch Weekly reported.

"Kris is hoping to get a deal for him," the source told In Touch. "She told him the bigger he got, the more money they could make."

Kardashian, who previously competed on the thirteenth season of Dancing with the Stars, opened up about his weight gain during a February episode of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami in which he said he had been relying on "comfort food and random sex" to recover from a bad December breakup.

Kim Kardashian was shown during the episode saying Rob had been dating his ex-girlfriend -- whom In Touch reported is singer and songwriter Rita Ora -- for over a year but his ex had tried to keep their romance a secret in order to maintain her public image as a single woman. Her unwillingness to acknowledge their relationship apparently took a heavy toll on Rob.
