It won't be hard keeping up with Khloe Kardashian, at least for the next few days.

The 24-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians co-star turned herself in this morning to begin serving a 30 day sentence in a Los Angeles County jail for violating probation stemming from a March 2007 DUI arrest, E! News reported Friday.

Sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian -- as well as their mom Kris Jenner -- were all present to lend support to Khloe, who due to current overcrowding of the L.A. County jails will most likely see her actual sentence reduced to only three days.

"You never want this to happen to your child," a "choked-up" Jenner told E! News.

Khloe was sentenced last August to 36 months probation, community service with the California Department of Transportation, and was also ordered to complete an alcohol-education program after she pleaded no contest to driving under the influence on March 4, 2007.

However Khloe never completed the alcohol-education program or the community service.

While she was ordered to re-enroll in the education program the community service aspect of her sentence was no longer an option and she was instead ordered to spend 30 days in the slammer.   She must also start attending the alcohol-education program within 21 days of her release.

E! renewed Keeping up with the Kardashians for a third season yesterday.
