Khloe Kardashian and her sisters traveled to Cuba this week to film Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and where they go, controversy naturally follows.

Khloe was called "ignorant" and "insensitive" after posting a sexy photo on Instagram Wednesday of herself standing in front of a grey-stone wall that features a "Fidel" inscription. Many outraged followers viewed the image as a statement that Khloe has aligned herself with Fidel Castro's regime and supports communism.
President Barack Obama restored diplomatic relations between Cuba and America earlier this year. While Americans are now allowed to travel there, restrictions are in place and approval is required.
South Florida Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen released a statement to People in regards to the Kardashian sisters' "vapid" visit to Cuba and the selfie Khloe took in Havana.
"While Khloe is taking photos with a sign that says Fidel, she should have at least some awareness that Fidel would have prohibited a Kardashians-style show. More than anything it's disappointing that someone who exercises her free speech right in the U.S. is blind to the lack free speech when she takes a selfie glorifying a serial repressor," Ros-Lehtinen told the magazine.
"I know it's cool for celebrities to go to Cuba, but the Cuban people don't experience the glamorous Havana that is featured on social media. Far from photo shoots and fruity drinks, everyday Cubans experience a different, sad reality. Now, the Kardashians are parachuting into the island to tape their vapid TV show. Haven't the Cuban people suffered enough?"
Another picture the Kardashians recently posted was of the girls enjoying themselves and smoking cigars.
