Kellie Pickler's new album is on the charts and in quite a familiar place.

"Kellie Pickler," the fifth-season American Idol finalist's self-titled second album, debuted at No. 9 on this week's The Billboard 200 album sales chart, selling 43,000 units during its initial week of release, according to Nielsen Soundscan data.

Pickler's "Small Town Girl" debut album was released in October 2006 and moved 79,000 units in it's first week.  Like "Kellie Pickler," it also debuted at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 album sales chart.

"Small Town Girl" has since sold a total of 789,000 units.

In addition to Pickler's album, this week's The Billboard 200 chart also featured the debut of another Idol alum's new album.  "Jennifer Hudson," the self-titled debut album of third-season Idol finalist Jennifer Hudson, debuted at No. 2 on the chart after selling 217,000 units in its first week of release.
