Kelly Clarkson is always trying to "Breakaway" from negativity.

The first-season American Idol winner, who mentored the show's freshest batch of young contestants this week, has had enough with people obessing over her weight.

During a Friday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Clarkson opened up about constantly being called overweight, Us Weekly reported.

"I love that people think [the topic] is new. Like, welcome to the past 13 years," Clarkson reportedly said of the criticism. "I was the biggest girl on [American Idol] too. I wasn't big, but people would call me big. I kind of always got that."

Clarkson, 32, welcomed a daughter named River Rose with her husband Brandon Blackstock in June 2014. Ever since then, the pop singer has been bashed for her post-baby body.

But the "Breakaway" singer isn't throwing a pity party for herself. In fact, she's happy with her shape and, if anything, just feels bad for her fans who have to hear it.

"It hurts your feelings more if it's someone else that you like. I think what hurts my feelings for people is that I'll have a meet and greet after the show and a girl that's bigger than me will be in the meet and greet and be like, 'Wow, if they think you're big I must be so fat to them,'" Clarkson explained to DeGeneres, according to Us.

"And you're just who you are. We are who we are. Whatever size. And it doesn't mean that you're gonna be that way forever... I yo-yo. Sometimes I'm more fit and I get into kickboxing and hardcore, and then sometimes I don't and go, 'Nope, I'd rather have wine!'"
