Kara DioGuardi has a new job and she's not interested in rehashing her ouster from "American Idol."

DioGuardi is a judge on U.S. cable network Bravo's upcoming "Platinum Hit," which is not a singing competition, but a songwriting competition.

The series, which bows this summer, follows 12 contestants through songwriting challenges. The winner gets $100,000, a recording deal with RCA/Jive and a publishing deal with Sony and BMI Songwriters and The Writing Camp. About The Author: Steven Rogers
