Julianne Hough is still unsure when she'll return to Dancing with the Stars.

"I don't know when I'm gonna be back," Hough told Access Hollywood correspondent La Toya Jackson at Monday night's performance episode.

"It feels weird to be here and like, not actually be dancing, but it was fun to watch."

Last November, the two-time Dancing with the Stars professional champion had stated she would not be back for the show's Spring 2009 eighth season.  She subsequently reiterated the decision was "final" because she wanted to focus on her singing career and be "taken seriously" as a musician.

However shortly thereafter Hough stated she "may have put my foot in my mouth when I said I wasn't going to come back next season" -- and that turned out to be the case when she was paired with boyfriend Chuck Wicks for the eighth season, which she later explained was a "last-minute deal."

Even before Hough and Wicks were ousted from the competition, she said she still planned to skip the currently airing ninth season -- a decision she followed through on.

"I'm sure I'll be back," Hough told Access Hollywood.  "It's great. I mean, this stuff, tonight was really, really fun."

In addition to focusing on music, Hough is also attempting to launch her career as an actress.

She's set to co-star in the film Burlesque next year with Christina Aguilera, Cher, Cam Gigandet, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci, and has also been tapped to star in a remake of the film Footloose alongside Gossip Girls actor Chace Crawford.
