The Bachelorette alum Joe Amabile has teased what fans can expect from the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, and it appears viewers should buckle up!

During the Thursday episode of the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation podcast, host Tayshia Adams prompted her co-hosts Joe and Natasha Parker -- who were both announced as official Paradise cast members earlier in the day -- about their time filming the summer spinoff.

"I wasn't expecting to be an original cast [member]," Joe, 34, explained of his return.

"Grocery Store Joe" attempted to find love in Mexico once again following his January 2020 breakup with Kendall Long, who he met and fell in love with on Bachelor in Paradise's fifth season in 2018.

"I forgot all of what Paradise is about, and it is a wild ride," said Joe, who also previously competed on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season starring Becca Kufrin and Dancing with the Stars.

"This season is insane," he added, "it really is."

Joe recalled, "It's almost was like every day got more and more intense. But we can't really break everything down."

But Natasha chimed in and said she had relied on Joe as a shoulder to lean on throughout the reality dating process.

"I will say that multiple times, I went over to Joe because Joe was like our Paradise guru because he had been there before," Natasha, 33, shared.

"So I'm like, 'Joe, is this what happens?' He goes, 'It wasn't like this my season. It wasn't like this my season. I was like, 'Really?!'"

Natasha noted the cast "didn't know" what to expect and Joe's expectations were either not met or totally surpassed.

"So [Joe] had this, like, I think, idea coming into it, right Joe? And then it was just completely different," explained Natasha, who found fame on Season 24 of The Bachelor starring Peter Weber. "It was different. I will just say that."

Joe agreed his second time in Paradise was "a lot different than [his] first."

"It was wild! It really was!" Joe noted.

Natasha shared how her "catch phrase" for Season 7 would essentially be, "Oh no," and Joe added that there were "a lot of unexpected happenings in Paradise."

"Something was always going on," Joe elaborated. "But yeah, I'm very excited to watch."

Joe also revealed he was very impressed with Wells Adams' performance on Bachelor in Paradise after Chris Harrison announced his permanent exit from the franchise last month.

Wells served as both the bartender and "master of ceremonies," presiding over the cocktail parties and late-night Rose Ceremonies.

"I do have to say Wells, in my opinion, Wells should be the full-time host," Joe told Tayshia.

"He did a great job... It was very important for me that he was there because I had somebody that has experience and I was able to go and talk to Wells a lot, and he always makes me laugh."

Joe admitted it's stressful in Paradise once you first arrive and so it was nice to have a buddy there.

Natasha, however, laughed about how Wells always made her cry because he tends to "pull the heartstrings."

"Wells asks the hard-hitting questions," Joe confirmed. "He's coming at you -- he knows what you're feeling and he is coming at you and he's not going to back away."

ABC skipped a Bachelor in Paradise last summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, and so after a year of anticipation, Season 7 is set to premiere Monday, August 16 at 8PM ET/PT.

In addition to Wells, Bachelor in Paradise will be guest-hosted by a rotation of celebrities: actor and comedian David Spade, former NSYNC boyband member Lance Bass, rapper Lil Jon, actor Tituss Burgess, and The Bachelor alum Nick Viall.

Wells recently teased everyone is in for "a really fun ride" during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
