Joan Vassos has revealed The Golden Bachelor star Mel Owens' bachelorette who she's rooting for and believes is the "most deserving" of love.

Debbie Siebers, a 65-year-old fitness professional from Denver, CO, has stood out on Mel's The Golden Bachelor season because she never had kids and has never been married before.

Debbie -- who has one broken engagement in her past -- told the cameras that she'd love to be a bride and find a life partner, and her story apparently pulled at Joan's heartstrings.

"I saw Debbie getting really emotional, and I get that for her because she has never had this experience [of wearing a wedding dress]," Joan explained to Ben Higgins during a recent episode of his "The Ben & Ashley I: Almost Famous Podcast."

Joan was referring to how Debbie dressed up as the "beach bride" for People's "sexy at any age" photo shoot during a group date with Mel.

"For most people our age, by the time you're in your sixties, you've been married. Maybe it didn't work out, maybe you're divorced, or maybe your husband has passed away, like mine did," Joan shared.

"But you have actually had the time to be married and you spent years and years and years with your person -- and she's never had that."

Joan therefore admitted to Ben, "It makes me really worried for her."

Joan went on to recall how Debbie had told The Golden Bachelor cameras that she felt so special and emotional wearing the wedding dress.

"She said, 'I was ready for him to get down on one knee right there,'" Joan recalled of last week's The Golden Bachelor episode.

"And I feel like, 'Ohh, I'm going to kill [Mel] if he breaks her heart.' I'm afraid... I'm really, really worried about her heart right now because I think she is maybe the most open of everybody."

Joan added, "Of all the contestants, I think she is -- I almost feel like she is most deserving. I want this so badly for her, to be in a couple and to be married."

Joan acknowledged how Debbie -- who also enjoyed a one-on-one French cooking class with Mel earlier in The Golden Bachelor season -- has "wanted it for so long" and so it would be nice to see her happy.

"If it doesn't work out for her and Mel, how beautiful would it be if she got her own chance and we could watch it? That's the type of people I want to watch on the show," Ben told Joan.

"I totally agree with you!" Joan said, adding, "I love that idea. I love that idea!"

Joan proceeded to gush, "I hope this works out for her, because I can see that she's really invested in Mel and she really likes him -- and I actually think they're really cute together -- but if it doesn't, I love your idea."

Joan shared how she's going to "hold out hope" that Debbie's love story will have a happy ending, one way or another.

"If she doesn't get it, I'm not going to be heartbroken for her because maybe she'll get to be the Golden Bachelorette!" Joan concluded.

But Nicolle May, who has emerged as "the villain" on Mel's The Golden Bachelor season, recently said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that she didn't think Debbie and Mel were the right fit.

Nicolle said that if she can't be with Mel, she thinks Cindy Cullers or Carol Freeman-Branstine would probably be the best match for him.

The podcast's co-host, Joe Amabile, then asked for Nicolle's thoughts on Debbie potentially being The One for Mel.

Nicolle audibly took a breath and a long pause, which prompted Joe to exclaim in shock, "Okay! Wow, alright."

Nicolle subsequently confirmed of Debbie and Mel's relationship, "I don't get it. I don't get it, but okay."

Nicolle said she didn't see anything between Mel and Debbie; however, she insisted that she "loved" Debbie as a person.

"No comment," Nicolle noted, adding that she was "surprised" by Mel's elimination decisions at every single Rose Ceremony.
