E! has announced it will air Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan, an on-air tribute honoring Joan's work and ability to make others laugh, on Friday, September 19 at 8PM ET/PT.

In the special, Melissa -- an executive producer and co-host of Fashion Police -- and Fashion Police co-hosts Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic, and George Kotsiopoulos will pay tribute to Joan who recently died at the age of 81 with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, stories from family and friends, and some of the comedian's most hilarious and outrageous moments.

Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan will feature outtakes, moments of Joan candidly joking with the cast and studio audience, Joan's trademark "did she really just say that" remarks, clips of guests in the world of entertainment that appeared on Fashion Police, and heartfelt words from Melissa.

The 90-minute special will be preceded by "Joan Day," a full-day Fashion Police marathon airing from 7AM to 7PM ET/PT. Some of the episodes, piling through the four years in which Joan starred on the series, will include her milestone 80th birthday and her latest fashion reporting for the MTV Video Music Awards and Primetime Emmy special.
