Jessica Simpson helped her daughter get dolled up for school picture day.

The 37-year-old singer and designer said in an Instagram post Tuesday that she woke up early to help Maxwell Drew, her 5-year-old daughter with Eric Johnson, get ready to have her kindergarten photos taken.

"Picture Day #MAXIDREW #6amCurls," she captioned a photo of Maxwell smiling and posing in her school uniform.

Maxwell recently went back to school after a relaxing and fun-filled summer, as seen on Simpson's Instagram. The designer posted a picture of Maxwell on her first day of kindergarten in August.

"KINDERGARTEN #MAXIDREW," she wrote alongside the snapshot.

Simpson had dedicated a post to Maxwell in June after her daughter graduated from preschool. She said at the time that the 5-year-old l was "excited" to start kindergarten.

"Spread your wings and prepare to fly for you have become a butterfly #kindergartenherewecome," the star said. "Someone is excited for kindergarten! How do all you moms do it? I need help."

Simpson also shares 4-year-old son Ace Knute with Johnson. She said in an interview with "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in May that she and Johnson don't plan to have any more children.
