Jennifer Lopez has revealed her days on American Idol may not necessarily be over.

When asked whether she'd be willing to return to American Idol's judging panel for an upcoming season, Lopez made it clear it's up in the air, USA Today reported.

"I don't know. That's the question of the moment. I loved doing the show. I've said that over and over. If it came down to it and things were right and it worked out right -- we have a lot going on right now," Lopez reportedly said on Wednesday at the upfront presentation for nuvoTV, an English-language Latino cable network which just named her its chief creative officer.

"For an offer to come in and for me to consider it, I would have to sit down and look at my next year."

Earlier this week, Fox confirmed prior reports that it is considering a drastic shakeup that could replace American Idol's entire judging panel -- Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson -- next season, and Jackson has already officially announced he has decided to leave the show following the current twelfth season.

However, The Wrap reported last week Fox isn't even considering bringing back Lopez despite recent rumors.

Lopez served as a judge on American Idol for two seasons, the show's tenth and eleventh editions in which Scotty McCreery and Phillip Phillips were crowned champions respectively, alongside Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.
