Jason Aldean has confirmed he is dating former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr, whom he had cheated on his recently-divorced wife with in 2012.

Aldean and Ussery have two daughters together -- Keeley, 7, and Kendyl, 3.
"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar," Aldean wrote on his Facebook Fan page at the time of the cheating scandal.
"I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that's the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support."
Likewise, Kerr -- a former NBA cheerleader for the Charlotte Bobcats, who appeared as a contestant on Idol's eleventh season but didn't make it into the semifinals -- also publicly apologized in Fall 2012 for hooking up with a married man, deleting her Twitter account in the process as well.
"The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part," Kerr told TMZ at the time. "I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family."
Less than one month after Aldean "screwed up," the country singer told E! News he was sincerely trying to fix his relationship with his wife.
"Family's good, we're workin' through it," Aldean said in October 2012. "We're tryin' to move on, that's the biggest thing. And, hopefully, people will allow us the privacy to do that -- and that's kinda it."
However, about six months after making that statement, Aldean's representative reportedly acknowledged the singer and Ussery were "having problems." Aldean then filed for divorce from his wife days later in Williamstown County, TN, citing irreconcilable differences.
"This is a really tough time for my entire family," Aldean told Us Weekly in a Spring 2013 statement.
"Jessica and I have been together since we were teenagers. We've been through a lot of ups and downs over the years as we grew up together as a couple. She will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children, and I know that we will both always make our daughters our No. 1 priority."
Kerr was reportedly photographed watching Aldean's concert in Orange Beach, AL, on Friday.
