In a video diary the Bachelor in Paradise 2 couple filmed for People, Jade and Tanner were driving to a doctor appointment together.

"What are we doing, Tanner?!" Jade asks in an excited voice.

"We are about to go find out the sex of the baby," Tanner says with a big smile.

"Is it a boy or is it a girl?!" Jade exclaims, as Tanner is crossing his fingers and noticeably wearing a baby blue shirt.

"How are you feeling?" Jade questions her husband.

"I think it's a girl," Tanner notes.

The video then flashes to Jade undergoing her ultrasound as Tanner sits next to her anxiously.

"He hopes it's a boy," Jade tells the ultrasound technician with a laugh.

Within no time, the technician told the happy couple, "It's a girl!"

"It is?!" Jade exclaims.

"I was right!" Tanner notes. "I was right."

"It's our baby girl. Wow this is exciting. I'm excited," Tanner tells his wife.

"I'm really excited," Jade says. "I'm going to cry."

Tanner revealed one great thing about having a daughter on the way is that the couple already has a name picked out for her. After hearing the baby's heartbeat, Tanner said it finally felt real that he's going to be a dad.

After the appointment, Jade told the camera she was going to send a package filled with pink items to both of their parents as a fun way to share the news.

The reality TV couple announced they're expecting their first child in early March, when they also disclosed the baby is due September 14, 2017.

Before Jade and Tanner discovered their baby's sex, Tanner told People in an interview, "I'm hoping for a boy, not that I don't want a girl. I actually want one of each. It's just I'm going to make her keep trying until we have a boy, so I'd like to get that out of the way sooner."

"He thinks I'm going to have four children if the first three are girls, but I think he's wrong on that," Jade said with a laugh, adding that they were "butting heads" when discussing potential boy names.

Jade and Tanner met on Bachelor in Paradise in Summer 2015, got engaged during the show's finale in Mexico, tied the knot in January 2016 for a televised special on ABC, and then hashed out their issues when they appeared on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars late last year.

Jade, who first competed on Chris Soules' edition of The Bachelor, and Tanner, who initially vied for Kaitlyn Bristowe's heart on The Bachelorette, are the only couple still married from the first three seasons of Bachelor in Paradise.
