HGTV has announced the second season of Home Town will premiere Monday, January 8 at 9PM ET/PT.

The married home renovators based in Laurel, Mississippi, will be featured preparing for the arrival of their first child together while taking on more projects.

The 10-episode season will continue to document Ben and Erin as they transform outdated small-town properties into gorgeous family homes.

"Ben and I don't think of our work as simply home renovation," Erin said in a statement. "We find the common thread in the things that the homeowners love -- the story of their life and family -- and how that relates to the house. It's satisfying when that comes together."

"I'm excited to see our baby grow up in Laurel where everybody takes care of each other," added Ben. "It's a special place."

During each episode, Ben and Erin will show clients two outdated, but budget-friendly properties which meet each family's needs and criteria.

Erin, an artist, will share her watercolor rendering of both old houses to showcase how they'll be updated, while Ben, a wood worker and craftsman, will be in charge of construction.

Ben will also use reclaimed materials from a property to build one-of-a-kind pieces for the homeowners -- including a bench made from front porch flooring and a 12-foot dining room table crafted from repurposed sunroom beams.

Ben and Erin announced last month they're expecting their first child together, a baby girl, whom they'll name Helen after Erin's grandmother.

Erin, who learned she was pregnant on May 13, also admitted at the time that she chose to keep the baby news a secret.

"It felt too close and too important to share... I am now almost 7 months pregnant, and it has been thankfully a healthy and easy pregnancy," she explained on social media.

"The long hours of filming have been hard on my very tired body each day, and in the first trimester there were headaches daily but never morning sickness. I thanked God for it, and still do."

The first season of Home Town debuted on HGTV in March 2017.
