In addition to the new season's cast, HGTV Design Star's fourth season will also feature two new faces on the show's judging panel.  While former Trading Spaces designer Vern Yip will return as a judge, he'll be joined by interior designers Genevieve Gorder and Candice Olson.

Gorder and Olson will replace designer Cynthia Rowley and In Style executive editor Martha McCully, who had served on HGTV Design Star's judging panel with Yip since the show's initial 2006 season.

Similiar to Clive Pearse, who will reprise his HGTV Design Star hosting duties for the fourth season, and Yip, who appears in his wn Deserving Design series for the network, Gorder and Olson both currently star in their own HGTV series.

Gorder currently hosts Dear Genevieve while Olson hosts Divine Design.

HGTV Design Star's fourth season will feature 11 contestants competing in a series of design challenges and attempting to win their own HGTV series.

"We challenge ourselves to make HGTV Design Star more entertaining every season and our fourth season is packed with the kind of surprises and twists that will keep viewers coming back week after week," said James Bolosh, the vice president of event programming for HGTV. "Viewers are captivated by this series because it showcases incredibly talented designers, innovative designs and the latest trends while giving audiences an entertaining and thrilling viewing experience."

HGTV Design Star's fourth-season finale will air on Sunday, September 13.
