Garrett Yrigoyen under fire for "liking" sexist, homophobic and politically-extreme Instagram posts before 'The Bachelorette'

Garrett Yrigoyen is being slammed for liking posts on Instagram that mock transgender people, feminists, undocumented immigrants and more.
Based on The Bachelorette bachelor's activity on social media, it's apparent the 29-year-old medical sales representative from Reno, NV, is a staunch conservative when it comes to politics, but he has liked photos, memes and jokes that take such views to an offensive extreme.
Shortly after criticism began circulating last week that Becca Kufrin's bachelor on Season 14 of The Bacheloretteis "racist," "homophobic," "heartless" and "sexist," he made his Instagram account private on May 24 and then deleted it entirely.
Days later, Garrett created a new Instagram page under a different handle to hopefully start fresh.
But the damage is already done, as former The Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey focused the spotlight on the issue by posting screenshots of the material on her own social media. (Ashley competed for Brad Womack's heart on The Bachelor's fifteenth season in 2011).
Garrett has apparently liked right-wing pages, including a clothing company called Merica Supply Co.
On the Merica Supply Co. page, Garrett has liked memes mocking feminists and transgender people.
One photo features a side-by-side comparison of "conservative women" vs. "leftist women." The conservative side shows a beautiful, thin blonde dressed in the American flag, while the other side shows an overweight lady wearing an "I'm A F-kin Feminist" tank top.
