With Fox having recently doubled the size of its initial Trading Spouses episode order from ten episode to twenty as a result of the show's strong initial ratings, that can only mean two things -- more open casting calls... and the careful use of the six remaining original episodes that the network has available for broadcast.

Given both small number of Trading Spouses episodes already produced and the fact that NBC's Summer Olympics coverage has been dominating the ratings since the Games began, Fox has been wisely holding back on the broadcast of any additional original Trading Spouses episodes the past few weeks. However that situation is about to change as Fox begins an all-new run of Trading Spouses beginning next week.

Trading Spouses will kick off its new run of original episodes and feature its first "Daddy swap" went Fox airs the fifth and sixth episodes of the series during a special two-hour broadcast on Tuesday, August 31 from 8-10PM ET/PT. The episodes will feature James "Jay" Cooke, a Greenville, GA lathe operator who lives on a farm, and Justin Levine, a New York City resident who's a "lawyer by day and social chameleon by night."

In the meantime, families interested in partipating in the program can attend one of numerous nationwide casting calls that the network is holding. According to Fox, families with "eclectic backgrounds and lifestyles" (apparently the stranger the situation, the greater the laughs -- at least for viewers) are especially encouraged to apply.
