As public speculation runs rampant about the premise of the second season of "Joe Millionaire," FOX has announced some additional details about the program's broadcast schedule, and to no one's surprise, it appears the network is planning to milk the hit series for all it can. Hopefully things will work out better for the network the last time they tried this with the sequel to the (at the time) smash hit "Temptation Island" series -- which subsequently bombed during it's significantly extended twelve episode run.

As previously announced, the hit series returns to the FOX schedule with its second season premiere Monday, October 20 (8-9 PM ET/PT.) Newly announced is the information that for four weeks, in addition to airing in its regular Monday evening timeslot, FOX will air a second all-new episode on Tuesdays at 8-9 PM ET/PT beginning on Tuesday, October 28. Close followers of the network schedule will recognize that timeslot... it's the timeslot that was originally intended for the just-cancelled second edition of "American Juniors."

The four-week dual episode run will then lead into the program's exciting two-hour finale on Monday, November. 24 (8-10 PM ET/PT).

Will "Joe Millionaire2" be able to match the original "Joe?" The only thing that is certain is that it will be a difficult task. Premiering on January 6, 2003, the first season of "Joe Millionaire" instantly connected with viewers and ranked as last season's highest rated series in key demographics including Adults 18-49 (No. 1), Adults 18-34 (No. 1) and Total Viewers (No. 2). Over 46 million viewers tuned in on February 17, 2003 to see the conclusion of series, making it the highest rated entertainment event of the year.

"Joe Millionaire" is produced by Rocket Science Laboratories. Jean-Michel Michenaud and Chris Cowan serve as executive producers. Roberto Cardenas is supervising producer.
