Fox's American Idol 4 continued its semifinals elimination process this week, with Monday and Tuesday's second round performance shows culminating in last night's Wednesday results show that eliminated four more semifinalists (two male, two female) from the talent competition.

On the women's side, Celena Rae and Aloha Mischeaux found themselves eliminated as a result of the viewer voting from Tuesday night's broadcast of the performances of the ten female semifinalists. Rae, a 29-year-old newlywed from Fort Worth, TX, had sung "When the Lights Go Down," while Mischeaux, a 18-year-old from St. Louis, MO, had sung "Let's Stay Together."
Next week, the eight remaining male finalists (Bo Bice, Anthony Fedorov, Constantine Maroulis, Anwar Robinson, Scott Savol, Nikko Smith, Travis Tucker, Mario Vazquez) will take the stage once again, singing live for America on Monday, March 7 (8-9PM ET/PT).
Then it's once again ladies' night on FOX, as the eight remaining female finalists (Amanda Avila, Lindsey Cardinale, Janay Castine, Mikalah Gordon, Jessica Sierra, Vonzell Solomon, Nadia Turner, Carrie Underwood) perform live in hopes of winning America's vote on Tuesday, March 8 (8-9PM ET/PT).
After that, another two males and two females will be eliminated on the live results show Wednesday, March 9 (9-9:30PM ET/PT) on FOX -- resulting in the crowning of the show's Top 12 finalists.
