The ongoing saga of Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler may finally be coming to a close, as the Skating with Celebrities champions-turned-controversial lovebirds tied the knot on Saturday.

"It was awesome and I feel amazing," Swanson told People magazine on Saturday about the wedding, which tool place at a San Luis Obispo hotel in front of 100 family and friends. "[The ceremony] was perfect even though Lloyd's cell phone went off at the end. He forgot to put it on vibrate!"

The 39-year-old Buffy the Vampire Slayer film star wore a strapless ivory Amy Michelson wedding gown and Carmen Steffens shoes, according to People. The 45-year-old Eisler, a two-time Olympic pairs figure skating medalist and world champion, wore a Nicole Miller tuxedo.

"We're excited about the future," says Eisler. "Kristy is getting back into acting and I'm building my coaching career. Hopefully everything will work out."

Swanson and Eisler's relationship began when they met while competing together on Fox's Skating with Celebrities in the summer of 2005.  The pre-taped reality competition series premiered in January 2006, and one month later a then-pregnant Marcia O'Brien, Eisler's wife at the time, blamed an affair between Eisler and Swanson for breaking up their marriage.

Eisler -- who has denied that his relationship with Swanson began before he and his former wife separated -- divorced O'Brien later that year and moved in with Swanson, who then gave birth to the couple's first child together, Magnus Hart Stewart, in February 2007.

In November 2007, the couple made headlines once again when Swanson was arrested for allegedly assaulting O'Brien. The charges were later dropped.
