The former eighth-season American Idol finalist wed his girlfriend Christina Teich on Thursday in Scottsdale, AZ, People reported Friday.

According to MacIntyre's representative, the couple exchanged vows in front of 200 guests, consisting of family members and close friends.

The 26-year-old singer -- who met Teich during a community theater production of The Music Man in 2003 -- reportedly sang "Wanna Be There" for his bride at the ceremony.

The newlyweds will reportedly vacation in Kauai, HI, for their honeymoon.

MacIntyre was the first-ever blind finalist to perform on the Idol stage and was the sixth finalist eliminated from the show's 2008 season.

MacIntyre proposed to Teich in February over lunch and tea.

"The tea sandwiches came out, then the scones, then the pastries... and normally that's where it would've ended... but then a fourth course arrived -- a silver platter covered in rose petals with the ring box in the center. I got down on one knee, and the rest is history," he told People.
