The two-time Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew participant broke his hip, his arm, fractured his neck and suffered a brain hemorrhage in the Monday fall, his girlfriend Vikki Lizzi told The CW's KTLA-TV affiliate in Los Angeles.

The incident has been characterized as a "freak fall" by KTLA, which added the 59-year-old is currently being held at an undisclosed hospital. He is expected to undergo surgery sometime on Tuesday to repair the damage.

The former Grease and Taxi actor appeared as a Celebrity Fit Club third-season contestant but was forced to leave due to a drug relapse.

He subsequently participated in Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew's first season, where he admitted to being addicted to cocaine, painkillers and alcohol. In addition, he was rushed to the hospital during filming after suffering a seizure.

Conaway also participated in Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew's second installment after "a series of back surgeries, setbacks and subsequent reliance on pain medications," VH1 stated at the time.
