HGTV has announced the fourth season of Flip or Flop will premiere Thursday, December 3 at 9PM ET/PT.

The hit house-flipping series will continue to follow experts Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa as they buy, renovate and sell real estate for a profit.

"I enjoy the chase to get the properties," Tarek said in a statement. "It's exciting to find these places and restore them back into beautiful homes. We always want to make it a great flip!"

During the new season of Flip or Flop, Tarek and Christina will continue to invest in short sales and foreclosures, taking such risks while balancing the responsibilities of having a family. The couple believes the worst homes on the block -- whether they be abandoned locations or ruined and decayed -- will often result in the greatest financial return.

In the season premiere, Tarek and Christina will buy a rental home in La Puente, CA, where they will undergo one of their toughest flips yet. The transformation will be costly, as the pair will need to renovate the foundation to the drywall before being able to sell it.

"This is hands down, our worst buy yet," Christina added in the statement. "But this house has come a long, long way from creepy to cute."
