Emma Slater has yet to win a Dancing with the Stars mirrorball trophy, but she has a great chance to take it all the way with her Season 24 celebrity partner Rashad Jennings.

The pro dancer was pleasantly surprised upon seeing Rashad's natural dance ability and talent during Week 1, and now they are definitely frontrunners in the competition. Prior to the currently-airing season, Emma's highest finish on the show was fourth place in Season 17 with comedian Bill Engwall.
So Emma joined Dancing with the Stars back in 2012 for the show's fourteenth season, but what else do we know about her?

- Emma "Louise" Slater, standing 5'5" tall, was born on December 25, 1988, so it's probably always a very merry Christmas!
- Emma started her training in ballroom and Latin American dance at age 10. Her professional career began at age 16 when she went on an English tour called "Simply Ballroom."
- She loves to match a blazer with most of her outfits such as patchwork jeans or plaid trousers and a cropped T-shirt underneath.
Emma appreciates how she can express herself through fashion, just like she can with dancing.
- Emma was featured in the movie Mamma Mia! starring Meryl Streep in 2008 and also appeared in George Michael's music video "Round Here" when she was a teenager.
- The blonde beauty is engaged to fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Sasha Farber. He popped the question live during a results show after performing a romantic routine together.
- Emma considers herself a salad and fish person.
She also enjoys raw vegetables with hummus (but not celery) and smoothies made with almond milk, banana, kale, spirtulina, apple and plant-based protein. Her guilty pleasure snack? Popcorn, movie style.
