Dr. Drew Pinsky says he has no plans to star in another season of his California-set reality series "Celebrity Rehab."

The internist and addiction medicine specialist came under fire after five former cast members, including country singer Mindy McCready, died after appearing on the addiction recovery-themed show.

The series ran for five seasons (2008-11). A sixth season, which ran last year, focused on non-celebrity substance abusers.

"I'm tired. It's very stressful and intense for me," Pinsky said on the "Zach Sang and the Gang" radio program last week.

"To have people questioning my motives and taking aim at me because people get sick and die because they have a life-threatening disease, and I take the blame? Rodney King has a heart attack and I take blame for that?"

Actor Jeff Conaway, musician Mike Starr and reality TV personality Joey Kovar also died after appearing on the program, EW.com noted.
