U.S. real estate mogul Donald Trump is boycotting appearing on ABC's "The View" over his increasingly bitter feud with series' co-host, Rosie O'Donnell.

The celebrity feud, which began when O'Donnell criticized Trump's handling of the Miss USA Tara Conner situation, escalated as Trump announced his boycott and asked for O'Donnell's removal from the talk show, US Weekly reported.

On Wednesday, "The Apprentice" boss offered support for Connor, who was facing a loss of her crown for underage drinking and partying, and O'Donnell publicly responded.

"He's the moral authority?" the 44-year-old TV host had said of Trump. "(He) left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair. Had kids both times, but he's the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America."

Since then, Trump has appeared in a series of TV interviews offering his own negative take on O'Donnell's career, including her decision to take on "View" hosting duties.

"I think she's terrible for the show and I think she sets a terrible example and tone," Trump told US Weekly.

"I never anticipate going on 'The View' again," he added.
