Discovery Channel has announced Dirty Jobs' fifth season will premiere on Tuesday, January 6 at 9PM ET/PT.

Following its debut, Discovery Channel will continue to air new fifth-season Dirty Jobs episodes in the Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot for eight additional weeks.  The nine-episode run will culminate with a February 24 broadcast in which Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe will conduct his 200th dity job.

Some of the unpopular and unpleasant professions Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe will take on during the nine new episodes will include working at a bologna factory and serving as apprentice on jobs such as plugging abandoned mines, making glass and banding birds.

In addition to Dirty Jobs' fifth season premiere, Discovery has also announced new Man vs. Wild third-season episodes will begin airing on Monday, January 12 at 10PM ET/PT.
