Dancing with the Stars pro Keo Motsepe has revealed the two toughest obstacles he faces while training his celebrity partner Jodie Sweetin.

Keo and the Fuller House star spend hours rehearsing every day for their weekly Dancing with the Stars routines, and if anybody knows how Sweetin deals with adversity at this point, it's him.

"I think [an obstacle] was making her dance with me, you know. It's so funny because... it's like, 'You're not dancing by yourself. Dance with me! I'm right here next to you. Why are you dancing by yourself?'" Keo told Reality TV World in an exclusive interview.

"So, I kept on telling her, like, 'You don't dance by yourself. It's a partnership. We're not disconnected; We're connected. If I push you in this number, we push together. It's not individual."

And there is a second hurdle the pair must work through often when rehearsing.

"I think also, like, getting her outside of her head [is tough]. She tends to go inside her head, and once she goes to that place, we never get work done," Keo admitted.

"It's never productive, so she'll get better and then I'm like, 'Okay!' I'll make a joke or do something silly. I'll say, 'Let's go outside and just have a chat. We'll go outside and have a chat about the kids or your family.' So she comes out, we [talk] and then we work. I found that dynamic works when working with her."

Keo and Jodie have been stuck in the middle of the judges' leaderboard every week, but on Monday night, the couple had their best dance together yet. The contemporary routine earned them 25 out of 30 judges' points.

Dancing with the Stars' next episode airs Monday, May 2 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
