Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough has injured himself and it remains unknown how bad it is.

Fellow DWTS pro Mark Ballas posted a photo on Instagram of him pushing Hough in a wheelchair at a hospital.

"Long night in the ER with @derekhough nothing worse than seeing a fellow dancer get hurt especially your brother," Ballas captioned the photo, which featured both men wearing very sad expressions on their faces. "But he had me @bcjean & @corkyballas there by his side. #fam."

Ballas took Hough to the emergency room on Monday night after he suffered an injury while rehearsing with former contestant Maria Menounos for Dancing with the Stars' upcoming tenth-anniversary special, according to E! News.

A source told E! News that Hough might have a broken toe, sprained ankle and possible ligament damage. The pro dancer reportedly has an MRI scheduled for Tuesday to examine the magnitude of his ankle injury.

Menounos revealed Hough hurt his foot by smashing it into a piece of equipment and then falling down the stairs when he attempted to grab ice for it. He reportedly rolled his ankle when he took the spill and Menounos helped as much as possible before Ballas took over.

"Ugh Mark when I heard him scream I knew we were in trouble! #fingerscrossed #getbetterfast," Menounos wrote alongside the same Instagram photo on Tuesday.

Hough wasn't the only person who got hurt. As captured on a video Menounos posted on her Instagram, she hit her head on the dance floor while trying to practice a stunt. She wrote the hashtags "#prayingforderek" and "#hopewecanstilldance" next to the clip.

Hough is currently paired with Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin on Dancing with the Stars' twentieth season.

"This beautiful girl killed the Tango tonight ! Soooo proud . Notes taken from the judges and if we make it through tonight we are ready for next weeks Charleston," Hough captioned a photo of Liukin on Instagram last night.

Hough is juggling Dancing with the Stars with his lead role in the New York Spring Spectacular.

Dancing with the Stars airs Monday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT on ABC. The results show will also be returning starting next week.
